@KhethiweM Generally, the answer to that would be "no;" we certainly aren't paid by the Wikimedia Foundation, unless our username ends in (WMF). People who are being paid by an employer/client other than the WMF need to disclose as such on their userpage.

@KhethiweM Your questions in order:

1. It isn't wrong to use your real name, per se, but it's inadvisable since people have been (quite rarely!) sued, fired, etc. due to their edits on Wikipedia; this is just as much a consequence of your name being exposed online than anything unique to Wikipedia.
