Template documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]

The master template is {{Infobox element isotopes}} (talk).

Parameters[edit]

|name=
|symbol=
|isotopes=<!-- tablerow subtemplates, see below -->
|isotopes table footnote=
|standard atomic weight ref=

The 'isotopes' parameter[edit]

Isotopes are to be entered by the editor in |isotopes=, using one subtemplate for each isotope. The subtemplate produces one row in the table (possibly with multiple decay mode routes). The infobox adds the outer table form.

Simple demo tablerows[edit]

What |isotopes= input should look like:

Standard atomic weight[edit]

For stable elements, the formal standard atomic weight (s.a.w.) is added, as published by CIAAW. When the s.a.w. is in interval-notation, its conventional value is added too. Data is retrieved from central s.a.w. values lists, formatting is by {{Infobox element/standard atomic weight format}} (same as {{infobox element}}). Through |standard atomic weight ref= extra reference(s) can be added. <ref>-tag should be added.

Example:

Main isotopes of lithium (3Li)
Isotope Decay
abundance half-life (t1/2) mode product
Standard atomic weight Ar, standard(Li)[6.9386.997] conventional: 6.94[2][3]
