Heya! I am Guerillero, or Tom Fish. I am an administrator, functionary, and Arbitration Committee Clerk here on the English Wikipedia.
I joined Wikipedia in November 2009. In 2011, I was elected to be a director of the Featured Sounds process; I was a director until the process was marked as historical that November. Later that year, I passed my RfA and became an administrator. In 2012, I was appointed as an Arbitration Committee Clerk. I resigned from clerking a year later when I accepted a community position on the Audit Subcommittee. In 2014, I was appointed as an Oversighter. That December, I was elected to a two-year term on the Arbitration Committee and appointed as an interim Arbitration Committee Clerk due to a shakeup in the clerk office. When I left the Arbitration Committee in 2016, I retained my Oversight and CheckUser rights. I was rather burned out from being on the committee and was de facto semi-retired from 2016 to 2019. In 2018, I lost my Oversight rights due to inactivity, but was reappointed as an Arbitration Committee Clerk.
When I returned to active editing in 2019, I dove into content creation. I wrote a Featured Article, a Good Article, six Featured Lists, and a smattering of Did You Know? articles. I also got involved with doing source reviews for Featured Article and Featured List candidates. As you can see from the list below, my interests are varied. I have written about folk music, punk rock, fine art, Washington College, religious brothers and sisters of the Catholic Church, and other weird things. I have a list of my ongoing projects on my talk page. I am currently making maps for articles. If you have something that you would like to see, please ping me.
In my real life, I am a trailing spouse, stay-at-home dog dad, cartographer, and Substack-er. My maps and non-Wikipedia writing can be found here. I currently reside in Copenhagen, Denmark with my wife and our rescued Black Lab-Great Pyrenees mix.
Identity[edit]
My real-life identity has been out to the community for a long while. It is fairly trivial to find my academic CV and my social media accounts. To make life easiest for everyone, here are the accounts and websites that I consider to be self-disclosed:
- Email: tfishguerillero.net
- Homepage: http://geo.fish or https://guerillero.net
- Substack: https://fish.substack.com
- Discord: Guerillero on the Wikimedia Discord server
- Libre Chat:

There are many other people who use Guerillero through out the internet. Someone using that name may not be me
