- SandyGeorgia, thanks for thinking of me, but I was forced into undertaking never to have anything to do with the FA system—not even to talk about it. Tony (talk) 22:49, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
- I know :) Sad state of affairs. Just wanted you to know that, regardless of FAC, good stuff happens at FAR. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 23:52, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
- SandyGeorgia – Later this year (when there's some breathing space from work) I plan to renovate my existing language tutorials, and add to them: a second set of advanced editing exercises, and new tutorials on comma usage and listing technique. And I might (grits teeth) also tackle a few issues that non-native speakers have: one on the use of "the" and "a", for example. Tony (talk) 00:51, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
- Let me know … I am always removing also and however and subsequently. Bst, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 00:54, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
- Good work, SandyGeorgia. These old men who tell us you're not allowed to start a sentence with "But" or "So" ... really? Plain and simple makes better rhythm, I say! I've been at it editing scholastic/scientific research for so long that I've got a lot more ideas since I first developed those tutorials. And a lot of new articles are translated from other-language WPs, so we could be more inviting and save ourselves some trouble by offering tips and tutorials on what makes English weird to outsiders. Tony (talk) 02:35, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
- If you're looking for real-wiki examples of comma fails, search my edit summaries for "comma splice". They're my mortal enemy, along with sentences like "At the shop he bought milk, eggs, bread, and paid with cash." Adrian J. Hunter(talk•contribs) 03:31, 30 January 2022 (UTC)

Grammar at Héctor Herrera Cajas' article[edit]
Hello, Tony. How are you?
Could you review the grammar and the spelling of Herrera Cajas' article? I have fixed many mistakes since the Cambridge B1 handbook (you as a native speaker, of course, you know more). On the other hand, I ask you about it because you put that notice on August 17th, 2021, so I would like to finish this episode.
I'll look forward for your answer.
