In 2017, Fridman worked on computer vision, deep learning, and planning algorithms for semi-autonomous vehicles.[13]

Fridman's work has been published in peer-reviewed journals.[14]

The Lex Fridman Podcast[edit]

The Lex Fridman Podcast (originally titled The Artificial Intelligence Podcast)[15][16] started in 2018,[17] and discusses "AI, science, technology, history, philosophy and the nature of intelligence, consciousness, love, and power",[18] unlike his previous show which was intended to be "more general and personal".[19]
