Suspected sockpuppets

My evidence may seem a little odd at first. Hear me out. Some users, mainly Mtking, Scottywong, Beeblebrox, and Hasteur have been going around and trying to delete as many MMA articles as possible. They always back each other up and make the same arguments. I've always been suspicious. But today I decided to type Mtking into google, and I found something that proves my suspicions, and then some. One of the results came up as a forum post from a user named "Mtking" and he admits he has several alternate accounts, and lists them. Here is a link to the page I am talking about (scroll down to the bottom to see the list of accounts he lists):

http://www.network54.com/Forum/673996/thread/1333213185/1334498727/Any+female+MMA+fighters+spanked-

(The very subject of the forum post is also about MMA)

Here are some links to MMA articles for deletion and other pages with these users (which are the same person) making the same arguments to delete articles with the multiple accounts:

I'm not very good with Wikipedia, so this may seem unorganized and I may not have done this process right, but I think it should be looked into. There has been much heated debate about MMA on Wikipedia, and these users have been the most vocal and are part of a very small minority with a lot of power. (At least one of the accounts is an admin).

I think it should be looked into. Gamezero05 (talk) 05:44, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Quack quack. I mean, he pretty well admits it on the link you provided... AndrewN talk 05:50, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting that this should be filed less than 12hrs after MuZemike blocked User:Carlito's Way or the Highway Star who posting the same links as a sock of User:Temporary for Bonaparte. I suspect this my will just WP:Boomerang right back. Mtking (edits) 06:35, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Huh? I'm not sure what you are saying. Are you suggesting that I am one of those users? Are you also saying that that person accused you of the same thing? Gamezero05 (talk) 06:45, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • That forum post with the alternate accounts is an obvious attempt to deceive. Why would he recommend people email "him" at ALL of those accounts? Ridiculous SPI, and will be closed as such. Equazcion (talk) 07:02, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    • How is it an obvious attempt to deceive? You can find it yourself by searching google. Type in ""Mtking" wiki" and it's at the bottom of the first page. Gamezero05 (talk) 07:10, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
      • I'm not saying you're attempting to deceive by pointing out the forum post here. Whoever made the forum post is attempting to deceive; bother those he doesn't like on Wikipedia with unwanted emails and perhaps even get someone to post an SPI about those users. Most of these are long-established editors and it's unlikely they'd have any interest in socking, let alone be dumb enough to make a public post declaring that they were. And do it to request sources for articles they're trying to have deleted? Equazcion (talk) 07:16, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
So Equazcion, your theory is that somebody went to some weird, obscure website and made a forum post and told one person to send an email to all of those accounts to "bother" them? And then they also hoped that somebody would see it and post an SPI? PLUS, it was the other person on that forum post that suggested that Mtking should email him. Mtking didn't bring that up first. Gamezero05 (talk) 07:24, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Basically. We see this a lot. See false flag, joe job, strawman sockpuppet, etc etc. "Crafty" ill-meaning individuals will often pose as the party they don't like. Scottywong, the administrator, is a sockpuppet looking to add incidents of female MMA fighters getting "spanked"? Hehe. Yes it's more than clear what this is. Equazcion (talk) 07:33, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It appears that way. Why else would somebody request such info to be sent only to their list of Wikipedia user pages and then refuse to email somebody that has info and pictures directly related to it? They are attempting to embarrass the Wikipedia editors listed. We seem to have been baited by trolls. Although there may be something to the Snottywong / Scottywong thing, of course you don't need a checkuser to tell you that one is a redirect to the other. Mad detective skills, that. ▫ JohnnyMrNinja 07:39, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Bullshit unless I've been having waking Tyler-Durden-ism, no way in hell. I'd ask for a 24 hour block on the filer of this SPI on the grounds of WP:POINT Hasteur (talk) 13:04, 20 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Suspected sockpuppets

Almost all of Mtking, Mdtemp, Astudent0, et al's edits consist of supporting each other in MMA related AfDs with the same dishonest copy and paste non-rationales. They NEVER say to keep any MMA related article and so use the same boilerplate comments. Moreover, they hound/bully everyone who dares to disagree with them. It appears that Mtking is the sock or meat master and then uses Mdtemp and Astudent0 when desperate. Just comparing these accounts contributions are telling. Moreover, these accounts have pratically no actually useful or constructive edits to speak of and seem to exist entirely for trolling MMA related Afds.
