Kermanshahi 4[edit]

  • Supporting evidence: Ongoing disruption/vandalism and block evasion. See recent WP:ANI threads here and here and recent contribs. Kermanshahi (talk · contribs) was originally blocked as a sockmaster, but was later unblocked. -The Bold Guy- (talk · contribs) was also blocked as a sock, citing this RFCU case, and later unblocked. And recently I blocked Last king of Frisia (talk · contribs) for vandalism regarding the same article -The Bold Guy- has recently been interested in. Would like some additional information regarding the above (and below) accounts, so that they can be dealt with appropriately. Cirt (talk) 10:31, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is  Possible that these users are the same on technical grounds. Sam Korn (smoddy) 10:46, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I blocked -The Bold Guy- (talk · contribs) who is already confirmed (below) as being the same as indef-blocked Angela from the Blue (talk · contribs). Cirt (talk) 10:50, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I blocked Kermanshahi (talk · contribs) - on the technical side we have a "possible" result here above, and a "likely" result, below, that the user is the same as indef-blocked Mrlob (talk · contribs). In addition, we also have behavioral evidence including this edit. Cirt (talk) 11:02, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Blocked Last king of Frisia (talk · contribs) - behavior is quite similar to -The Bold Guy- (talk · contribs) - who is already confirmed as a sock of indef-blocked Angela from the Blue (talk · contribs). Cirt (talk) 11:32, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Chrislk02 (talk · contribs) has now unblocked Kermanshahi (talk · contribs). I disagree with this unblock, but I will leave it to Chrislk02 (talk · contribs) to be responsible for this user's actions in the future. Cirt (talk) 14:08, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk note: The following was added after the CU had run but before archiving. JodyB talk 16:53, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Supporting evidence: User:Jouke Bersma has very similar intrests to User:Last king of Frisia and User:-The Bold Guy- (not just Pier Gerlofs Donia, but the creation of improbable and numerous redirects to it, including e.g. an interest in Hans Boskamp, posting to Jimbo's page, making similar statements on their user page[1] [2], and a similar interest in Touch the Clouds (edited by Mrlob, the bold guy, and this new editor). This new account wsa created ten days after the previous accounts were blocked. He is also editing unconstructively (in part), adding his name to a number of articles and creating a redirect from his name in main space to his user page. Redirecting Maphia Italya to Touch the Clouds is pure vandalism as well. More evidence can be provided if this is insufficient. Fram (talk) 08:22, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Supporting evidence: User:Great Gall looks like an SPA created to get Touch the Clouds through WP:GAN. Touch the Clouds has been a major interest of User:Jouke Bersma (as per above), and was created by User:Mrlob. Both Jouke Bersma and Great Gall have edited List of tallest people to insert information about Touch the Clouds, and other than Touch the Couds and GAN-related pages this is the only article edited by Great Gall. Finally, both accounts claim to have been editing for many years as IPs [3][4], both employ similar editing summaries, and there are no time conflicts on their edits (although Great Gall has only logged in twice, so there isn't a good sample size for this one). - Bilby (talk) 21:15, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Well well, you are discussing me being a possible sockpuppeteer and you are doing it behind my back - how cool is that! You could have informed me of this! Jouke Bersma Contributions 10:49, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And then your next edit is to edit an article you haven't touched before, but which had been edited by the bold Guy previously... [5]. Could some checkuser please process this? Fram (talk) 11:03, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Nonsense! I have nothing to do with all these figures in here! Jouke Bersma Contributions 11:33, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, and the article on executioner I edited was an article that included an image without a link so I linked it how big a deal is that? You are making a real big deal out of nothing at all, just some random similarities. Jouke Bersma Contributions 11:43, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If someone eventually checkusers this, please include the ip User:193.172.170.26, which seems to be a static address with many of the same characteristics. This P is currently blocked for a month after editing for two days (started again after Jouke Bersma stopped editing). Fram (talk) 11:28, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

See comment by this IP. --Van helsing (talk) 16:07, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
But the IP specifically denied being this user yesterday[6]. I'm too involved, but I don't think another admin has to wait for the checkuser to eventually happen to just indef block the two users as sockpuppets, and to lengthen the block of the static IP to one year. Fram (talk) 08:23, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Meanwhile, the IP address has been blocked for a year, and Jouke Bersma indefinitely. Fram (talk) 08:19, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk assistance requested: Unless I'm missing something, this looks ready to close. — Coren (talk) 23:19, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kermanshahi 3[edit]

can a check user check these two out if possible? I am not sure how long since the last edit IP information is stored, ive not requested a check user in quite a while so i dont know all the ins and outs.

I blocked mrlob and alot of his socks a while ago after a botched RFA meatpuppet vote stacking incident i stumbled upon. This new editor is editing in a very similar pattern and many of the same articles. Is it possible to determine if angela is a reincarnation of mrlob?

this mrlob fellow may be a sock of a higher up sock master, I am not sure. He has a clear patter of editing and user page creation that always seems to jump out.

Thanks, much Chrislk02 Chris Kreider 03:32, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, in case it isn't clear: This is the same case as user Kermanshahi.   Zenwhat (talk) 04:56, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

information Note: - accepting this case per talk page detail from earlier. Prelim. check shows RfA votestacking, etc - Alison 05:06, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Stale: Kermanshahi (talk) and Mrlob (talk)
Confirmed - the following accounts, involved in RfA votestacking and vandalism:
  1. Angela from the Blue (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)
  2. -The Bold Guy- (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)
  3. Yoshaibo (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)
  4. Ramtashaniku (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)
  5. Shojaijekhi (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)
 IP blocked - Alison 05:12, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Clerk note: accounts listed as confirmed have been blocked and tagged appropriately. Spebi 06:00, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, accounts were tagged with confirmed as kermanshi socks, however this RFCU states that the kermanshi IP's were stale. I am re-tagging all as socks of angela, and a suspected that angela is a sock of mr lob based on previous experience. Chrislk02 Chris Kreider 17:05, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kermanshahi 2[edit]

I Initially block user:Murlock for 24 hours after he vandalised various articles/user pages his response to this indicated that the four accounts were using each others diff, so blocked the other three. Kermanshahi has edited all three user pages without discussion or response from the others. [7] [8] Haggawaga added personal information to Mrlobs User page dif and to Murlock's User page diff

This edit is Kermanshahi placing a mrlob confirmed sockpuppet as a sock puppet of Kermanshahi as well see Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Kermanshahi. Gnangarra 15:10, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk note: Initially listed under code letter F, but F doesn't apply, and evidence is presented that fits G, probably a typo. --ST47Talk 20:57, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Comment - these have already been blocked, along with Mteichert... Neil () 21:06, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

 Confirmed. Dmcdevit·t 21:12, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, as was brought up to me, I was not clear enough here. The same pattern as noted below holds here: it is possible that Mrlob = Kermanshahi, but not confirmed by CheckUser (though there is still behavioral evidence above--why is Kermanshahi editing their user pages?--but that is for an admin to decide). However, what I confirm is that Haggawaga - Oegawagga = Blowland = Murlock = Ayatollah Rhobijnie = Kashwialariski = El Alamajin = Mrlob. Dmcdevit·t 06:12, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Kermanshahi[edit]

  • Code letter: G

This whole mess came to light when Ayatollah Rhobijnie started Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Kermanshahi. Mrlob and Kashwialariski then soon voiced their support a full two days before the RFA was publicly listed by 84.87.138.105. After Chrislk02 (talk contribs) struck out their votes as sockpuppets, Ayatollah and Kashwialariski both attempt to tamper with that page. Chrislk02 then blocks Ayatollah Rhobijnie and Kashwialariski which then triggers an autoblock on Mrlob. Subsequently, I've indefinitely blocked all the above accounts as sockpuppets, while Kermanshahi himself has been issued with a 1 month block. All the above users and ip address have frequently edited each others userpages and handing each other barnstars. Judging from the articles edited, I can safely say that Ayatollah, Kashwialariski and Mrlob (oldest account) are the same user. However, the link between Kermanshahi and Mrlob is a bit weaker if we ignore the RFA voting, and the strongest evidence is that Mrlob did appear twice only to support Kermanshahi's Iranian figures at Talk:List of countries by number of active troops and Talk:List of countries by number of active troops despite never having edited those articles. So could a CheckUser please determine if Kermanshahi is also Mrlob. Thanks --  Netsnipe  ►  13:11, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

For the record, I did not strike the votes as sock puppets, it was User:Michaelas10 with this edit. I think a checkuser here is a good idea however, and believe that Kermanshahi probably does not have sock puppets, however the other disruptive parties may have been close friends of family members. -- Chrislk02 (Chris Kreider) 14:18, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Results as follows:

Confirmed that Ayatollah Rhobijnie = Mrlob = Kashwialariski
Likely that Kermanshahi is the same as above set. Close geographically while not the same IP, which means likely to be either a work/school IP, or a meatpuppet.
Likely that El Alamajin is the same as the above (for the same reason).

Dmcdevit·t 08:03, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mrlob already confessed and el Alamajin is also confirmed to be sockpuppet of Mrlob and he said I was innocent I have also as you can see been unbanned so could you please change the likiley icon by me to and icon that sais it was not true? Kermanshahi 12:29, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
