I'm not sure if I'm going about this the right way, but I believe a rangeblock is in order to stop this ongoing problem, and a combination of analysis of the suspected and confirmed socks of this user, along with some checkuser evidence would probably be the way to determine exactly where to block. These are the suspected, although a great many of them admitted to it, so they are actually confirmed. These are the other confirmed socks, I believe some of them were already investigated with checkuser. As a non-admin, I'm more or less in the dark about exactly how rangeblocks are done, but clearly there is a serious problem here, and there is a definite pattern to the IP addresses used by this banned user. Bambifan101 (4th)[edit]

  • Supporting evidence: I strongly suspect this may be another Bambifan101 sock. He continues mentioning Unecyclopedia, which Bambifan101 has previously indicated he loves to edit at, including asking for a copy of a hoax article he made to post there[1] and his attempt to add a link to and article there in our Furby[2] (the article there on Unecyclopedia is almost exclusively edited by one of our previously blocked Bambifan101 socks). He's also asking for interwiki links to be added to The Fox and the Hound ‎ to specific interwiki articles that again, have been hit by other Bambifan101 socks that have been blocked here (and some there) almost exclusively. Ironic side note, he's even actually been banned under a few of these socks on Unecyclopedia! That takes dedication... Bambifan101 (3rd)[edit]

  • Supporting evidence: Strongly suspect this is another sock of the Disney vandal. He has attempted to behave himself before under another sock, before finally going back to his old bad ways. He has, already, vandalized a user page before self-reverting. Edits the same articles and doing many of the same non-vandalistic edits the vandal sometimes would do. When flat out asked, he responded in an edit summary asking not to be blocked[4] and has claimed to see another editor at Unencyclopedia[5] a site he mentioned previously that he was an active user of. Usual admin who does check users on these is on a wikibreak. I've only listed a handful of the recent socks above to check against. A full list of his related IPs is available at Wikipedia:Abuse reports/68.220.x.x and 70.146.x.x and 65.0.x.x and a full list of both IPs and named socks available at User:Collectonian/Links#Disney vandal. If confirmed, another IP range block may be needed. As an update to the evidence, Sjakoj's activities and joint editing with established sock User:Iluvteletubbies at the CY Wikipedia would seem to confirm that this is another sock. Sjakoj is editing many Disney articles to link to CY articles created by Iluvteletubbies, including some that seem to be vandalistic take overs of established articles. -- Collectonian (talk · contribs) 21:35, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

These recent examples all popped up in the last few days. At this point, I'm inclined to believe that the accounts created from this IP are unrelated to those created originally by Bambifan101. Some of Bambifan101's accounts, created on an IP in a different country, were in use while this sockfarm was being created. As bizarre as it seems, that looks to be the case. Bambifan101 was operating from a single ISP in the USA while this sockfarm was being created by someone in Norway.
