That's not right. There's a better place to stuff them up... Jasper Deng (talk) 03:41, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. As per an old song, we should not put beans in our ears. Because the article name is wrong it has to go. --Dennis The Tiger (Rawr and stuff) 04:39, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - It's actually not that dangerous. In your eyes, on the other hand? That could impair your eyesight. CycloneGU (talk) 05:21, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Never Mind the Bollocks, just Delete it - This is a vicious circle: encouraging people to not stuff beans and having a page explaining them that this encouragement actually means do stuff them; makes them then not stuff them per WP:BEANS and we're back to the start again. benzband (talk) 09:24, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. I don't even understand the nomination or delete votes. This essay is regularly referenced in the context of many Wikipedia policy discussions. The gist is that we shouldn't include in policy things that will only give bad ideas to editors. That is, we shouldn't tell them not to "stuff beans up their nose", because otherwise someone is guaranteed to do just that. Unless a policy addresses an actual problem rather than merely a hypothetical one, it's better not to have a policy about it. Sławomir Biały (talk) 12:06, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment - i cannot and do not understand your position. When i first read the essay, i tried stuffing beans up my nose to test the theory, at a painful result. This made me fully understand that i should not engage in bean-stuffing, but only through the process of WP:BEANS and surgical intervention. Thus, from my POV it should be deleted per WP:BEANS and the page creators should be put in detention and/or defenestrated. benzband (talk) 12:27, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - an April 1 nomination, I presume? This is useful and often cited. JohnCD (talk) 12:11, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • comment page location is now unstuffed after spending time at User:Don't stuff beans up your nose and User:Xiong/Don't stuff beans up your nose. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 12:12, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep, but perhaps expand to cover all the bodily orifices one shouldn't stuff beans in. *Dan T.* (talk) 12:12, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per WP:BEANS. - SudoGhost 12:16, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete the Main Page. I dare you. Do it. Frood! Ohai What did I break now? 15:35, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete along with the entire Wikipedia and permanently ban everyone. Night Ranger (talk) 18:06, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
