Our first wikipedia edit-a-thon will be hosted by the Independence Public Library and will be held on Thursday, October 25th and Thursday, October 29th at the Independence Public Library @ 220 East Maple Independence, KS. The Library will be open from 10-8PM and the computer lab will be available for editing wikipedia. Snacks will be served and we look forward to seeing you!

Our focus will be on the Independence, KS page. We will have reference books available and we hope to get some early Independence history on the page. You are welcome to bring your own ideas though! All of the staff at the library are wikipedia newbies so feel free to come learn with us.
