I feel that Bedford does not understand WP:NPOV as demonstrated by his text on his own talk page. I also feel that his comments toward me violate WP:CIV, WP:AGF, and WP:NPA

Who are the involved parties?[edit]
User:Bedford, User:Broooooooce, User:bstone (to a lesser extent), and others who participated in the discussion and in the discussion on DYK.
What's going on?[edit]
Bedford feels that "War of Northern Aggression" is an acceptable substitute for "American Civil War" and has used it in numerous articles including multiple times on the front page of the Kentucky Portal. Also, Bedford is combative, condescending, and insulting in his responses; this is unwelcoming and, in my opinion, a violation of WP:CIV, WP:AGF, and WP:NPA. This user is an administrator whose actions should be held to a higher standard thus I feel these apparent violations to be particularly upsetting.
DYK Elaboration: I had been checking DYK nominations and was unaware of the unposted precedent that 5x expansion was tallied using the text that makes of the body of any given article rather than the total bytes of the article as given by it's history. Because of this, I had concerns about two of Bedford's submissions. In his responses to me on the DYK page, it seems to me that he went out of his way to find ways to call me stupid. He did not assume good faith--how was I to know about a rule that isn't even documented? Further, his responses were personal insults.
Upon asking him to stop talking to me in such a disrespectful and condescending manner, I was told that I was the one with the problem. Upon submitting this to medcab, he removed the template from his page and when bstone inquired as to why, he accused me of vandalism, when bstone contested this, he accused us both of stalking.
I haven't said one cross word to this guy. This behavior is disturbing.
What would you like to change about that?[edit]
For Bedford to acknowledge he will comply with WP:NPOV in the future and that he understands why his previous actions are not appropriate, for him to stop using personal attacks in otherwise civil exchanges.
