Their modus operandi often involves making edits to their usual targets, such as linking to non-existent pages, changing the names of links, and adding often ungrammatical things to plot summaries (which are sometimes reverted), followed some time later by section blanking on various pages, most often blanking plot sections on pages related to the Conjuring Universe. An example of this can be seen with the contributions of the blocked sock 86.121.148.181 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log).

First known IPs are 5.12.24.242 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) and 2A02:2F0A:C802:1E00:0:0:0:0/64 (block range · block log (global) · WHOIS (partial)), both active in December 2020.

Occasionally uses the Wikipedia Android app, making this a possible WP:THEYCANTHEARYOU problem, but also ignores warnings when not editing from the app.

They appear to be editing along with the Italian IP ranges 62.18.0.0/16 (block range · block log (global) · WHOIS (partial)) and 62.19.0.0/16 (block range · block log (global) · WHOIS (partial)) since July 2022. This might suggest meatpuppetry.
