It doesn't appear that this book cover meets NFC, specifically that the book is mentioned in one sentence and isn't necessary. SWinxy (talk) 07:47, 27 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

• "Necessary"? It adds information to the article, the fact that the cult has produced a book, ie: literature, regarding their beliefs. A lack of prose is a matter of editing, not so much a reason to reject fair use of the file. The book itself is key to the group, as it is the only published work they have produced, and the imagery of the book cover gives the reader an idea of the mindset of the authors. I would say it is conveying a great deal of information that would not available without it. And of course, including the image in no way hurts the author's ability to profit from their work. This seems to me to be a text book case of why we allow Fair Use for articles like this, where the book itself is likely not notable, but the group surely is, and the inclusion gives the reader a more round understanding of the group.
