Now when I try to unify them accounts I notice this fellow on the CS Wikipedia project, using the same alias. None of us has posted even 30 edits, none of great importance. I hope I'm in the right place, since all links seems to be referring to either usurping/claiming taken names (preferably obsolete; slash with no edits made) just out of nowhere, or simple renaming issues. I am known as 'Anachronist' on all other Wiki projects, as well as in email. I request usurpation of 'Anachronist' on Wikipedia under the 'rare exceptions' condition mentioned in the lead paragraph of Wikipedia:Changing username/Usurpations, to allow for a single user login (SUL) under this username.

The 'Anachronist' account has made only one single edit in 2002 (hence my request for an 'exception'). I cannot contact the account holder by email (perhaps a bureaucrat could do so?) The account is clearly abandoned, and its single contribution is neither significant nor controversial. Yes, I am Anachronist on Wiktionary (29 edits), Commons (12), WikiQuote (4), and elsewhere. The user pages on those other projects should redirect to my user page here on Wikipedia. I had few edits on Wikipedia when those accounts were created. My request for usurpation then was denied. Since then, my Wikipedia edits have accumulated under this account name I never wanted (Amatulic). Wiktionary and Commons are my most frequent-use other projects, but admittedly I do far more browsing those projects than contributing. I don't know how I'd manage a few thousand edits on Commons, for example, without changing my career to a photographer!
I don't understand why the lone edit to add 1 or 2 lines of text is "significant" just because it created an article. I have no problem with that edit, either to take credit for it or publicly disclaim it on my talk page. It would become an insigificant entry in my edit history. I would appreciate further explanation on this point.
If only the original owner of the 'Anachronist' account on Wikipedia could be contacted, this whole issue could be resolved...
My request remains open under the 'rare exceptions' condition described on WP:USURP. Thanks for the consideration.

 Not doneThe edit isn't significant specifically because it started the article, but it did add text to it and that does require attribution under the GFDL. That's just the rules of the GFDL. The USURP policy is that accounts should have no edits and the rare exception only applies if the edit doesn't require attribution under the GFDL which unfortunately isn't the case here. I know it's a bummer, but a USURP isn't appropriate here and that's what you're really asking for since you don't have enough edits to other projects for SUL consideration. - Taxman Talk 13:10, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

This is very true and you are correct; however, I think we're on different pages. See, you own both Ghisteslwchlohm and Cneubauer on the English Wikipedia. If you want Ghisteslwchlohm to be renamed to Cneubauer, I have to first rename Cneubauer to Cneubauer (usurped) in order to vacate the name for Ghisteslwchlohm. So, it's up to you: would you like me to move your contributions as Cneubauer to Cneubauer (usurped) so that Ghisteslwchlohm can be moved into Cneubauer, or would you like me to leave things as they are now? I am actually seeking to rename my unified account on other Wikipedias. I already changed my name on English Wikipedia, but it wasn't until yesterday did I realize that my global account was not renamed, and I accidentally created another account on Chinese Wikipedia.
