It's just content forking. Article creator extracted the names of some ethnic groups from Iranian peoples and List of ancient Iranian peoples, and created a smaller version/list. Both Iranian peoples and List of ancient Iranian peoples need improvements. So it's pointless to have forks, similar and stub articles. --Zyma (talk) 03:39, 22 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

• Delete Redirect to Iranian peoples#Eastern Iranian peoples - EDIT: redirect, not delete, is correct per PWilkinson's argument. I maintain it's a content fork and would need significant work with WP:RS to demonstrate its specific value as a separate article; I'm not sure even what kind of content it would have other than being a list, there is no coherent category here other than "these ethnic groups speak related languages". • Redirect to Iranian peoples#Eastern Iranian peoples, without prejudice against creation of a more substantial article on the topic. WP:CFORK is usually a reason for an alternative to deletion rather than deletion, and this is not one of the exceptions. While there is no content currently here that needs to be merged to Iranian peoples, there should certainly be at least a redirect - and looking at the current state and history of this article, the nominator should simply have redirected this BOLDly rather than coming here. But beyond that, Iranian peoples is long enough that a WP:SPINOFF article at this title is fully justifiable, should anyone be prepared to create it.
