  • As has been discussed here and here, the original image by Caltech/R. Hurt does not appear to be a work by NASA as much as an artistic image created by Richard Hurt that happens to be displayed on NASA websites as fair use. Also, we can't use it as "fair use" ourselves because File:Planet-Nine-in-Outer-Space-artistic-depiction.jpg exists as a free usercreated image, thus WP:NFCC#1 disallows the use of the non-free image.   • This is a painting that was most likely not created by the uploader, and is thus most likely a derivative work. To validate if this file can be released as a free image, the author, date of creation, and country of origin of the painting would have to be known.
