Confused whether this was meant to be 1874 or 1875... JTtheOG (talk) 20:28, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Whatever the wikibox says the date/election is the correct one. TheMrBurntToast (talk) 20:32, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

Hey, as a fellow election-interested person I appreciate you creating various articles on past elections. Can you please make sure to include sources though? Sources are very important so that information in the page can be verified. I'd also like to point out that ourcampaigns isn't really the best source - it's better than absolutely nothing, but it is an open wiki which means it generally isn't considered reliable. Ourcampaigns does tend to provide their own citations to where they got the data from - if you could potentially acquire those sources and cite them, that would be good. Though, I can understand the costliness of directly acquiring those sources, many of which may be out of print and not easily available online.

If you have any questions about this or anything else with editing Wikipedia, feel free to ask! Elli (talk | contribs) 01:35, 19 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there, it’s honestly great to see someone else who cares about elections and cares enough to make sure they are verified, so I commend you on that.

To be clear, I honestly forget sometimes to add my sources and refs. I noticed that I forgot the source when looking on mobile, but my phone doesn’t allow me to add sources for some reason so I will add the source in the morning when i can access my PC.

And I agree, Our Campaigns really isn’t great, but it’s all I can find for a free source. I might try to purchase some of the sources they reference if I can, but I can not guarantee.

Anyways, thank you for caring so much and contacting me. You can always message me here if you need something.
