Welcome!

Hello, ContentKing01, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

Or, you can just type {{help me}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

June 2014[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Charlesdrakew. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Coppicing because it appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Physical exercise. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Also, site does not qualify as a "reliable source". Hertz1888 (talk) 06:35, 25 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

August 2014[edit]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Maroochy River. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. bonadea contributions talk 07:23, 26 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Replacing dead links[edit]

Please do not replace dead links in references with commercial or otherwise inappropriate links. It is better to use an archived version of the old link, if a new location for the original content cannot be found, than to replace it with an inappropriate external link; see this information about what kind of links are inappropriate and note that some companies are unscrupulous enough to create copies of old articles on their own sites in order to get a Wikipedia link, which is something that needs to be counteracted. Thank you. --bonadea contributions talk 07:32, 26 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
