July 2019[edit]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely because the chosen username is a clear violation of our username policy – it is obviously profane, threatens, attacks or impersonates another person, or suggests that you do not intend to contribute positively to the encyclopedia (see our blocking and username policies for more information).

We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, but users are not allowed to edit with inappropriate usernames and we do not tolerate 'bad faith' editing such as trolling or other disruptive behavior. If you think there are good reasons why these don't describe your account, or why you should be unblocked, you are welcome to appeal this block – read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Why am I blocked? That is my name. What is the matter?

Decline reason:

I don't know if it's your name or not, but you will have to do better than accusing others of racism when they never mentioned race at all. We have no way of knowing the race of the person sitting at the other end of the computer. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 10:13, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

well. in english, "ph" has the "f" sound. "c" wold have the "k" sound. Now, sound it out.  Dlohcierekim (talk) 05:32, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Wow. So now you are trying to be a racist or something? That's my birthname in my own language. Cant I use my real name? What is going on here?— Preceding unsigned comment added by Phucdt17 (talk • contribs)

Actually, have no idea if you are Viet Namese-- or not. I did consider that and search Google for the name, thinking, yeah. Google gave me these results about somepella offering the nom du voyage 'Phuc Dat Bich'. So I paused. Per this discussion, I've come to presnt @Orangemike: with request to unblock. We generally don't unblock w/o at least asking first. And, once again, it was non-racist to think you were non Viet Namese trying to bypass the edit filter w/ word play. Also, no cryptospammer would use an "offensive user name" to create a page. So, I'll place the request on hold. Sorry for the inconvenience.  Dlohcierekim (talk) 10:50, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Dude. This is the super-dooper-all-purpose-scooper English language Wikipedia. One of it's many benefits is the incomprehensibly irregular spelling allowing for multi-phasic, more-than-basic word play. And this suspected word play happens everyday, on this site, we-see-it-all-the-time. so please forgive the freindly fire, wasn't-thinking Viet Nam block.  Dlohcierekim (talk) 11:01, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunate coincidence. There's a finite number of monosyllables pronounceable by humans, and when monosyllable X appears in two different languages, speakers of both languages will each initially interpret it as part of their own language. Additionally, the block message is simply boilerplate text which gives a general explanation of "your username is, or seems, inappropriate". DS (talk) 16:41, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

block chain and crypto currency[edit]

Please read this notice carefully.

You are receiving this notice because you recently edited one or more pages relating to blockchain or cryptocurrencies topics. You have not done anything wrong. We just want to alert you that "general" sanctions are authorized for certain types of edits to those pages.

A community decision has authorized the use of general sanctions for pages related to blockchain and cryptocurrencies. The details of these sanctions are described here. All pages that are broadly related to these topics are subject to a one revert per twenty-four hours restriction, as described here.

General sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after the editor has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Request reason:

OK you "have no way of knowing the race of the person sitting at the other end of the computer" but you know clearly that their REAL NAME is a "clear violation" of your your username policy, and that "it is obviously profane, threatens, attacks or impersonates another person", then give a block to my username without asking any questions. You see MY REAL NAME in your Super-Super language - English - and you said it is not a racism? Wow. That is super great. Well done Wikipedia. Well done

Accept reason:

English is screwy, and I am making the good faith assumption that this is your real name, as suggested by my colleague. Orange Mike | Talk 22:41, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

But I am done with you guys Wiki here. Thanks, and goodbye.
