Scott Stapp and Art of Anarchy[edit]

Hello, I noticed you made an edit on Scott Stapp. Do you know by a verified resource, if he is still member of Art of Anarchy? I think and I hope and believe that he is, but I want to know for sure. I hope you know details, surrounding his stature and whether they can counted upon to be verifiable and liable resources.

Regards: The Mad Hatter (talk)
I didn't really make an edit there, rather I accepted the pending changes of this IP as there are no reliable sources I could find that indicate he has left the band.--Phospheros (talk) 06:28, 11 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Draft:Donna Shalev Please Restore the draft. Thank you.[edit]

Dear Phospherous,

Please restore the article Draft: Donna Shalev . Thank you. Furthermore, this entry is meritorious enough to be restored as published as it is.

The "Donna Shalev" article in question went through an extremely strict review process at the time of its original publication, before it was verified by the Wiki editor(s). Since it was happily about a living person, the content were further verified by Prof. Donna Shalev herself, of Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, HUJI, at the time of publication. Thus I was utterly surprised when I learned awhile back that someone at Wiki had deleted it for unusual reasons. This respected editor kindly restored it upon my request, but in its Draft form. I meant to use this opportunity and expand it further if time permitted and more information became available, but that did not happen. So I meant to restore it as it was, and as soon as I would get a chance. However, I was again surprised that the restored Draft was deleted, within the past few days, this time as it seems by you. Please note, this is a verified, fact checked, highly concisely written entry. Any duplication with the content on HUJI or elsewhere was expected, verified and authorized, given the nature of the biography. There was no copyright infringement, nor inaccuracies in the report, given available and reasonably reliable sources. I believe that it's an article about a highly respected prolifically published linguist and more, well known in her professional circles. The only issue with it is that it's far too short for her stature, but I've hoped that others would join to expand it over time. It's unfair to keep scrutinizing it, let alone deleting it. Thus please kindly restore it to its Draft form, or if possible, Publish it, to save me some further time and energy. Thank you very much.

All the best wishes, Payman Akhlaghi, 04.23.2019, L.A. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PAKComposer (talk • contribs) 01:31, 24 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for helping make The Black Dahlia (graphic novel) an article  :)[edit]

I just want to say Thank You very much for helping make The Black Dahlia (graphic novel) a Wikipedia article. It seems like yourself, and some help from Users named User:Worldbruce, and User:SkyGazer 512 contributed. It was put in draftspace before I even had time to work on it. Also, I know it's late, my saying thanks and expression of gratitude, but this was important to me, and I was going to thank the people who helped with the article (from the history you can see I was fighting a losing battle in making it an article.) Anyway, again, THANK YOU for your help. Also, let me know if any other users or people such as WorldBruce and SkyGazer 512 helped out, how much they contributed. I'm going by the article's history for information on who helped make The Black Dahlia (graphic novel) an English Wikipedia article. Best prayers to you and God bless you. @PeaceShield5: Your welcome, you did most of the work, it just needed a little cleanup and minor copy editing. Cheers!--Phospheros (talk) 01:39, 9 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A note on AfC reviewing[edit]

I noticed you reviewed and accepted Decentralization in Rwanda; unfortunately, it is highly probable that this article has severe copyright vio problems. Please feel free to contribute to the discussion on WP:Copyright problems but also please run AfC pages through a copyright vio checker before accepting. Thanks, and feel free to ping me with questions! --Nerd1a4i (talk) 02:21, 19 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks![edit]

Hello,

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.

Thank you!
