Requested username:

FrankTheTank (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)

Request reason:

My previous name was violating the user policy because it has relations to a company or group (or in my case a band). So I was told by OrangeMike and other Wikipedia users that I should consider changing my name. The only intentions I have with this account is to add information to the Wikipedia article "Portchester School", because the school is actually no longer called Portchester School, it is called Harewood College. I am a student of the school and I represent the school as school Captain. I am not intending on creating another "October Fires" Wikipedia article because the band lacks global recognition and importance.

Accept reason:

I am sorry you have had such a bad start to editing Wikipedia, and I do hope it goes better from now on. I am unblocking you to allow a username change to "FrankTheTank". Please put this request in at Wikipedia:Changing username as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. JamesBWatson (talk) 10:32, 17 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, apologies for reverting your previous PS4 addition, I've now reinstated it after a discussion and finding a better reference. Samwalton9 (talk) 16:07, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

As someone who has been involved in the edit warring over whether to include Playstation 4 as a confirmed platform for Battlefield 4, could you give your opinion in order to form a consensus on the talk page? Thanks. Samwalton9 (talk) 11:18, 9 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ok Sam. I've done so. And I've also started a discussion on the PS4 Wikipedia article to see if they have any information FranktheTank (talk) 10:32, 16 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Mars red sky requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. — sparklism hey! 08:34, 30 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sabbath[edit]

Hi again! I noticed you added two sources to support the doom metal genre for Black Sabbath. While Metal Archives is not considered reliable (as it's a fansite that almost anyone can edit), the second does look okay (at least from my perspective). While the page doesn't seem to explicitly say that the song is doom, and instead says the band as a whole is, I think it'll do for now until we find something a bit more concrete. Thanks for digging that out! — Richard BB 13:30, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
