I_Pakapshem

Seems this is a really continuous story. After many attempts to promote specific issues through irc activity, initiating a deletion discussion [[1]], with baffling results (2 users directly accused him for this kind of activity). Someone, the same time, set up a really disgusting childish bait style job, off-wiki [[2]], [[3]], creating a new account in topix [[4]] for that purpose. I feell sick on how things reach bottom level activity. If you have time, your participation in the related admin. incident would be vital. Thank you.Alexikoua (talk) 06:33, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

A user is accusing me as a member of an extremist organization [[5]], without a single evidence. What else have I to say? Actually he says (Alarichus) that he will check i.p. and stuff? How is it possible for a simple user to do that? I'm really not in the mood to continue this conversatation on a bottom level. Thank you.Alexikoua (talk) 14:01, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

Just letting you know

You possibly remember that Nakon left a warning at the top of this article about removing a section without consensus. I recently found that Offliner in fact removed these materials without consensus some time ago: [7]. I restored this section to the last version by Nakon, informed Nakon about this and suggested a way forward at article talk page. Unfortunately, that was complicated by an IP who reverted me in 15 minutes [8]. There could be a sockpuppetry... I inform you about this, as not to be viewed as a violator of Nakon's instructions (he is inactive right now), or perhaphs you could give me an advice. Thank you.Biophys (talk) 22:48, 11 September 2009 (UTC)

sockpuppetry case

I am highly suspicious that User:Alarichus is in fact none other than Sarandioti under a new guise. I have filed an SPI here [11] and would be interested in hearing you weigh in on this case, particularly so as you are experienced in these matters and familiar with Sarandioti. Regards. --Athenean (talk) 20:45, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

There remains the open question of what sanction Sarandioti should receive for his deception. So far he has not been sanctioned at all. I cannot believe he is going to be allowed to get away with this. And now someone is proposing to unblock the Alarichus sockpuppet account. This is ridiculous, he should not be allowed get away with such behavior. Otherwise, what is to prevent everyone else from socking in this manner to get around their blocks and revert restrictions? --Athenean (talk) 21:55, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
Which reminds me. Sarandioti, using his Alarichus sock, violated the terms of his revert parole by twice reverting here [12] [13]. So, he used the sock for block evasion (editing through early August) and evasion of the revert restrictions. --Athenean (talk) 06:21, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
It seems he's now blocked 3 months. I'll keep tabs on his IP range for suspicious activity. Nishkid64 (Make articles, not wikidrama) 15:47, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

He has violated his revert restrictions by reverting twice here [14] [15], without discussing mind you. Not to mention incessant tendentious filibustering, incivility, personal attacks and general disruption on the talkpage of other articles [16] [17]. --Athenean (talk) 17:07, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

You speak of incivility, filibustering and personal attacks when that's yours and all the other greeks editors trademark. You should be so kind as to bring here the log of albanian nationalism and show the kind admins the behavior of your buddy Megistias and his continous reverting and refusal to come to any kind of compromise and by acting like the article is his personal property.--I Pakapshem (talk) 21:33, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

It does look to be two reverts in one week by I Pakapshem. The material he is repeatedly adding to the Background section at Peshkëpi_incident lacks any nuance, in my opinion. "They started an terror campain against albanians and had the support of many greeks and bishop Sevastianos of Konitsa.[3]" The actions of this group are reprehensible, but they could be described in a more neutral manner. For example, the book 'Unholy Alliance' was published in the USA but it's clearly an opinionated work, so the source should be attributed in the actual text of the article (not just the reference link) when claiming that Bishop Sevastianos is supporting what appears to be a terrorist organization. EdJohnston (talk) 17:49, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
Ed, mind going ahead with a block? I Pakapshem will most likely protest if I touch this matter. Nishkid64 (Make articles, not wikidrama) 20:14, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
I have asked him to undo his last edit at Peshkëpi incident, since I normally do that if 1RR is the reason for a possible block. EdJohnston (talk) 21:13, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

Mughal Empire and socks of Mrpontiac1 and his supporters Adjustshift and Elockid

Aamirshkh [18] this is the edit of a banned user which I tried to remove but his supporters Adjustshift and Elockid have been supporting him/her I trust that you will removed his edits and restore the article to its neutral state before his 3 socks edited the Mughal empire page if not dont worry I have alerted several users who will gladly remove his trash and pov edits from the page but its better if a AdjustShift accepts his mistakes and removes it himself 86.153.129.29 (talk) 09:56, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

Do you ever cease to stop disrupting Wikipedia? There are better things to do than cause constant disruption. I think this user Mupper3445 shows that you were not only here to revert socks which you seem to have been aiming at for the week, but also here to push your own POV. We reverted these edits because they were obviously you causing more disruption as a banned user. AdjustShift protected the page to keep you from editing because you are a banned user. Your next account Dilawere123 was blocked for socking again. You reinstated the same exact edits as Mupper3445 under Dilawere123 and not all those were reverting socks at the time. You had no knowledge about Bilawalo. Even if you say you were not Nangparbat, even though you really seem like it, you are still block evading. Nishkid blocked this IP of yours yesterday, 86.158.232.138 (talk · contribs) and you are editing now. Also if you haven't noticed I also informed Nishkid about your account above this thread, Napar45 (talk · contribs) so I don't know why you keep complaining about others socking and editing when you yourself are doing the same thing but with more socks. Elockid (Talk·Contribs) 13:53, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
My own lol POV what the hell are you talking about everything you state is rubbish I did not add ANYTHING to the Mughal empire I just removed a socks POV edit who was being backed by you and Adjustshift seems to me you will twist and turn reality to save your skin and your banned mate Aamirshkh skin get a grip I dont edit pages to push a POV provide proof of me adding POV to the Mughal empire page I only removed the clear pov of a banned user than run your mouth once you have proof of my so called POV pushing in the mughal empire article cheers 86.153.129.29 (talk) 15:24, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
So mrpontiac and his socks were not POV pushing and hes allowed to edit now? well so am I and I will keep reverting his trash from the Mughal empire page whether you and ure banned freinds like it or not 86.153.129.29 (talk) 15:30, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
I really don't know why you keep saying I'm friends or buddies with these users you keep mentioning. I have in no way supported them or edited on their behalf. I'm reverting your edits because those socks on the Mughal Empire are blatantly you, a banned user. The other users we didn't even know about and have insufficient knowledge (you yourself didn't know it was somebody else), so we were doing the smart thing and not getting further involved. We reverted you because we have sufficient reason to believe that you're Nangparbat. You yourself did not know you were reverting socks as evident in the case of reverting Bilawalo with Mupper3445. You're main objective with those socks was to remove any Indian POV which is part of your abusive history. So saying that you're reverting socks is not entirely true. I think there's a difference with your situation and Mrpontiac. Mrpontiac is blocked indefinitely for abusing multiple accounts. You are banned permanently. There is a difference between a block and ban. Please see WP: BAN. Elockid (Talk·Contribs) 18:45, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
LOL so now Mrpontiac isnt banned? [19] your obsession with banned indian pov pushers such Mrpontiac is trully disturbing you are actually convincing yourself that hes not banned lol thats really worrying actually. Moving on I have only removed the edits of a banned user who was using exactly the same POV edits as Dewan357 replacing images of Pakistan with India block or ban I dont care hes not allowed to edit now go tell that to your chums Mrpontiac1 and dewan357 again you seem to be living in fantasy there is massive evidence that Mrpontiac1 is attacking the Mughal empire page and hes a sock end off 86.162.70.46 (talk) 19:13, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

Inuit18 keeps on adding (Persian: هیرمند) to the article. It is very hard to find a single source which uses هیرمند/Heermand when referring to Helmand/هلمند. Helmand(هلمند) is the only term used in all languages (Pashto, Persian/Farsi/Dari, English etc) by all sources (Government, News Agencies, NGOS and etc).

The moment the user's block is ended, he/she comes to wikipedia and starts nonconstructive edits. Your help would be appreciated. Thank you (Ketabtoon (talk) 06:26, 20 September 2009 (UTC))

I don't know why you keep labelling my edits as vandalism. I gave you my sources and reasoning and when you added Persian to helmand I stopped. you cannot find Helmand in one Persian dictionary and Helmand was and is still referred as Heermand in Persian literature and media. Long term vandal on mobile phone service

I really need your assistance with this, as I had brought up in a thread on ANI in the past. He just keeps coming back. He's used two different IPs today. 166.203.187.107 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) and 166.217.155.150 (talk · contribs · WHOIS). There needs to be something done.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 02:34, 29 September 2009 (UTC)

Mughal Empire

Umerfarooq (talk) 07:27, 29 September 2009 (UTC) the Mughal empire page was protected by you, so wondering if you can take a look at this error on it... it stats that Akbar started a new religion but does not provide any references, a claim such as this should really have references. The entry on Akbar the Great#New_Sect does clarify this so appropriate changes should be made on Mughal empire to reflect this.

Your account has been around a while, so it should be able to edit through the sportection YellowMonkey (bananabucket) 03:31, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

Jojojohnson2/EnglishBeerJudge = Jingleheimer Smith?

Hello,

Back in July, you blocked English Beer Judge as a sock of User:Jojojohnson2. There is a recently active user, User:Jingleheimer Smith, who seems like he might be the same person. They have similar editing interests (beer, Tim Duncan, Mike Dunleavy Sr.), and the thing that really caught my attention was how both EnglishBeerJudge and Jingleheimer Smith have insisted on mentioning that Tim Duncan's wife is blond: [24], [25].

So, where would I go from here? I'm not at all familiar with the sockpuppet investigation procedures, so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks! Zagalejo^^^ 22:00, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

Blocked. It's him. Thanks, Nishkid64 (Make articles, not wikidrama) 16:55, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

Request for sock block and sleeper check

I see you picked off one of his socks tonight already, but you missed this one. It'd be nice if non-CU admins would block this guy once in awhile. It's not like he's hard to identify. I'm going to guess that Wikipolitics is the reason they don't. And sorry to keep bothering you, I was going to let this one slide until tomorrow morning but he slightly annoyed me by reverting my recent edit to cloud feedback. I guess in retribution for reverting him. Such is life I guess. 1953 Iranian coup

We are totally deadlocked and pretty much have been since July. The [1953 Iranian coup d'état article] is a mess. I thought the article was making some progress on non-controversial areas but it was only because Kurdo777 had taken a break. He's reverted any changes I made. Do you have any recommendations to avoid an edit war? --BoogaLouie (talk) 19:46, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

Pak POV Pusher Nangaparbat?

This guy SupraTomas23 (talk) is a possible sock of that mughal empire guy, he is a Pak POV pusher(Just look at his history), he is just a day or two old but seems to know too much about the WP, that does make him suspicious.Qazmlp1029 (talk) 18:21, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

Yes, it's him. Blocked. Nishkid64 (Make articles, not wikidrama) 18:26, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

Thanks man!!Qazmlp1029 (talk) 18:32, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

And possibly this guy too 86.153.132.43 (talk).Qazmlp1029 (talk) 18:38, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

"Pak" is very derogatory in some cultures, and its use can make you look like a bigot. I'd suggest to spell it out in the future or even better refrain from categorizing POVs with such blanket terms. --Stephan Schulz (talk) 18:41, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
You should see some of the terms Nangparbat throws around for Indian editors on WP, myself included. In comparison, "Pak" is hardly an insult (it's more of a shorthand). If it was "Paki", that's a different story. Nishkid64 (Make articles, not wikidrama) 18:45, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
"...and the whole world goes blind". Point taken about Pak/Paki. --Stephan Schulz (talk) 18:58, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
Well, given the fact that I've been dealing with this guy for almost a year now (I believe there are more Nangparbat IP blocks than Scibaby ones), I think we can ignore proper etiquette. ;-) Nishkid64 (Make articles, not wikidrama) 19:32, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
"Pak" is also used all the time by newspaper headlines in Pakistan YellowMonkey (bananabucket) 07:12, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
