Pronunciation of English T[edit]

When an article gets big, the best thing to do is split it by putting certain sections into their own articles. The T article is still big even without the pronuncation section merged in (56KB; when it is merged in it is 75KB.) Georgia guy 19:51, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree that dividing big articles is the best thing to do. They're not different subjects, and the page loads fine on almost any computer. This is why our article count is so inflated, because we keep on creating entries like this. Noone will care about it if it's called "Pronunciation of English T [sic]." And, no one (including me) will want to edit such an obscure entry.--Macaw 54 23:00, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

3RR on T[edit]

You are in danger of violating the three-revert rule on a page. Please cease further reverts or you may be blocked from further editing. Naconkantari 23:14, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

T reverts[edit]

You say that I violated 3RR on T. However, only what you are referring to as the 2nd-4th of my reverts are reverts. The first of these was just a split of the article, not a revert of anything. Georgia guy 23:52, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

T[edit]

I'm sorry to say this, but the T article, with your edits, is now 82KB. Do you really think it's a good idea to try to make articles as big as you like?? Georgia guy 19:48, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Absolutely. Without a doubt.--Macaw 54 00:33, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

T article[edit]

Please answer this question:

How big do you plan on making the T article?? Georgia guy 13:38, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I predict that I won't write too much more. But, it's hard to say for certain until I've looked through all of the literature about the letter.

Mozarabic art[edit]

Holy mother of WOW! Man, I wish more people would research and reference a subject as well as you did this one. I thought it was a copyvio! Google came up negative and when I scrolled down a bit further, I saw the bibliography.

Unfortunately, it DOES appear to be a copyvio. JPG-GR 06:38, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Out of interest - which proxy is introducing the \' ?[edit]

It's the first time I've seen it. I assumed some wierd browser Netscape 2.0 or something. I've attempted communicating via it's talk page. But he/she/it doesn't seem to notice. Megapixie 10:29, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This one. Although a scan with Nmap showed that some of the ports are "open," . This allows the user in question to pretend to have a different IP address. Of course, it could also be a legitimate user in that organization. Backslashes are a problem associated with proxy servers that run Unix.--Macaw 54 02:32, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Nevermind. I checked again, and although a lot of ports are open on his computer, it doesn't look like outside users can connect easily. Sorry about that. I don't think it's his browser, though.--Macaw 54 07:25, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
