Draft article

Hi there, hope you are well. I have been drafting a new article and have spent a good amount of time on it - Draft:RAF Lakenheath near nuclear disasters. I was hoping to be able to get someone to review it for me. I noticed that you've done a couple of edits on the list of military nuclear accidents page, so I thought the similar topic area of my article (two Broken Arrow nuclear incidents) might be of interest to you. If you could review it for me would be immensely grateful. Snugglewasp (talk) 17:11, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

@Snugglewasp: my edit at the other article was just a routine maintenance edit that I've done on thousands of other, unrelated pages. I'm not all that interested in the topic, nor am I an expert on content creation. However, you might try posting this request at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Military history, where you'd have a decent chance of getting feedback from someone who is familiar with the subject matter. LEPRICAVARK (talk) 17:28, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

Wikiproject tagging

I know this isn't really something that you worry but can you please use the class system as I (and a few others) are trying to keep the unassessed articles low enough to knock it all out but by adding more pages to that pile. It makes it tougher for us to complete it. HawkAussie (talk) 02:56, 23 December 2020 (UTC)

HawkAussie, I'll try to help with that moving forward, although it is certainly more efficient to tag en masse and assess later. Which WikiProject are you referring to? LEPRICAVARK (talk) 03:14, 23 December 2020 (UTC)
That would be the for the WikiProject Football section. I understand if its unassessed for the biography section but when it's clear that it has a class rating that is like you could have rated it the same as it was. HawkAussie (talk) 00:25, 24 December 2020 (UTC)
Good point. I've assessed probably a couple hundred Football biographies since your last message. Will keep working on them from time to time. LEPRICAVARK (talk) 00:26, 24 December 2020 (UTC)
Thank you for your understanding. HawkAussie (talk) 03:45, 24 December 2020 (UTC)

Hello, Lepricavark,

I'm not sure why you would put a tag on an empty category that is going to be deleted in 2 days. It just seems like busy work for the sake of edits. Was there a reason to do this? Just curious. Liz Read! Talk! 06:48, 24 December 2020 (UTC)

I was mass adding those to categories. It's work I've seen another experienced editor do in the past, and it seems harmless to have that tag on most categories. I've removed it from that one and will adjust my AWB settings so that it skips pages with deletion tags in the future, although I'm probably almost done with the current tagging since I have some other projects that are more important to focus on. You recently offered a statement in a request for arbitration. The Arbitration Committee has accepted that request for arbitration and an arbitration case has been opened at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/RexxS. Evidence that you wish the arbitrators to consider should be added to the evidence subpage, at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/RexxS/Evidence. Spanish taskforce tagging

I noticed you tagged Joemar Guarecuco for WikiProject Football's Spanish task force. She isn't Spanish- she's Venezuelan, and has never (so far as I can see) played for a Spanish team, so I don't believe she'd be of any interest to the Spanish task force. Joseph2302 (talk) 16:02, 28 May 2021 (UTC)

Joseph2302, thanks for catching that. The article appears to have been incorrectly placed within a couple of Spanish football categories, so I have removed those categories and the Spanish football tag. LEPRICAVARK (talk) 16:08, 28 May 2021 (UTC)

article assessment question

Hi. Hope you're doing ok. Weird question: Can you tell me why you assessed John Daniels (footballer) as part of Wikipedia:WikiProject New England Public Transit with this edit? I'm not seeing an immediate connection between the article subject and the project's primary topic. Thanks in advance. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 05:54, 7 July 2021 (UTC)

Eggishorn, welp, thanks for catching that. What probably happened was that I typed 'England' into the Rater search bar and then accidentally selected the wrong option. Those mistakes happen from time to time, but I usually I catch them before submitting the edit. LEPRICAVARK (talk) 11:46, 7 July 2021 (UTC)

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Talk:Hasbulla Magomedov until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. (talk page stalker) @RafaelHP:, talk pages are not nominated for deletion separately from their subject article pages. If you want Hasbulla Magomedov to be discussed at AfD, please nominate the article itself. I have undone your change to the talk page. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 02:18, 10 July 2021 (UTC)

WikiProject Football's women

Hi, why did you add Rabie El Kakhi and Khaled Takaji to the women's project? Nehme1499 11:20, 18 July 2021 (UTC)

Nehme1499, hmmm, it looks like both articles are in Category:Sadaka SC players, which is in a women's football subcategory. Therefore, those articles were included when I pulled a list of women footballers. I'm not sure what, if anything, to do about the categorization issue, but I shall have to keep my eye on the article titles a little more closely. LEPRICAVARK (talk) 13:36, 18 July 2021 (UTC)

Tedious formatting taks

Lepricavark, how's it going? Are you interested in taking on some more tedious formatting tasks related to college football? Thanks, Jweiss11 (talk) 00:26, 8 November 2021 (UTC)

It would depend on what you have in mind, but at this point I generally prefer freelancing rather than working on specific projects. LEPRICAVARK (talk) 02:24, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
I have bunch of things in mind of various sizes. The first one is a relative small one. See this edit I made at 2005 NCAA Division II football season. That needs to be repeated for the 2006 thru 2018 NCAA Division II seasons and the 2005 thru 2019 NCAA Division III seasons to bring the spacing/formatting in line with all the other seasons. I think that would probably only take an hour or so. Let me know if you want to knock that out. There are much bigger projects you could help chip away at as well! Jweiss11 (talk) 16:09, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
Just completed that specific task for the DII and DIII articles. I was able to use find and replace to get it done quickly with AWB. If you have other tasks that can be sped up with AWB, feel free to send them my way. Anything else likely won't get done. LEPRICAVARK (talk) 01:36, 10 November 2021 (UTC)
Excellent. Thanks! Jweiss11 (talk) 04:18, 10 November 2021 (UTC)

Regarding this user. I have no sympathy for their behavior and I have declined their unblock request.

However I cannot see any policy based reason to revoke their talk page at this time. While I feel they should be discouraged to the maximum level for their behavior I have to do so within the confined of policy.

That being said if they use their talk page in violation of policy, even a little, I will revoke their talk page access. HighInBC Need help? Just ask. 01:13, 7 December 2021 (UTC)

Apology

I have no excuse for what was not much less than a pointy oppose based entirely on a comment getting under my skin — I should have known better. Doubling down and attacking you was entirely out of order and I apologise. I regret not "just" being irritated and leaving it at that. I do try to hold myself to a high standard of conduct and in this case fell well below. I've left the same wording as an apology on Levivich's talk, though please know my words are no less sincere — I just don't know how else to say it. — TNT (talk • she/her) 12:34, 22 July 2022 (UTC)

Ben Hunt ( relative of ours )

Do you have any other information on Ben Hunt . We have reason to believe he was our 2nd great grandfather . I would like to send you photos of what we believe to be his grandsons . It’s been a mystery for years but there is very strong evidence he traveled through on his way to Jacksonville at a young age . The journey he would have made and the dates match perfectly. The resemblance of the family and the fact they were all very tall and they also suffered from lung issues . It was known that a Ben Hunt was our Great grandfathers father and he went on to play professionally. Only through internet research were we able to put the puzzle together . 2600:1005:B106:B828:7D50:E2AC:B4F0:240D (talk) 02:09, 16 November 2022 (UTC)

Biography project tagging

Hi there, thank you for all the work you do with AWB and project tagging of articles! For WikiProject Biography though, could I ask that you don't include a blank listas parameter? Either not include it, or complete it. For example on https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Sophie_Tassignon&oldid=1124865922. This is because it slows down people using the WP:RATER tool as it thinks it's intentionally blank and hence doesn't auto-fill it. What I've ended up doing is removing the listas parameter in the RATER tool, then adding it again in a 2nd edit, as I've found that's fasted for me, but it's a workaround. Thanks. (Though I can see some potential benefit in having the blank parameter there for people not using a semi-automated tool at all and doing it manually by editing the source.) -Kj cheetham (talk) 11:21, 3 December 2022 (UTC)

That explains why it doesn't autofill when I use RATER. That makes sense. I normally do all of the tagging at one time to get that part done, and then go back and fill out the parameters as I have time. Moving forward, I'll refrain from including a blank parameter.
