Hi Jazzerino! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia.
Be our guest at the Teahouse! The Teahouse is a friendly space where new editors can ask questions about contributing to Wikipedia and get help from peers and experienced editors. I hope to see you there! Osarius (I'm a Teahouse host)

June 2014[edit]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Misterioso (Thelonious Monk album), without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 18:58, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You do not own Misterioso, and you do not own me. Bye bye bully. Jazzerino (talk) 19:33, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon I noticed that you made a comment that didn't seem very civil, so it has been removed. Wikipedia needs people like you and me to collaborate, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 20:20, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The articles you have been editing recently have met the FA criteria (which I got them to). Their prose was reviewed thoroughly, so if the rationale for your changes does not lie in any of Wikipedia's policies or guidelines, please explain them at the article talk pages beforehand. Dan56 (talk) 20:23, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The prose in these article is not the best. Are you saying that once an editor takes an article to FA its off limits for others? Jazzerino (talk) 20:25, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, this change is not the best. Why are you making a series of petty grammatical edits primarily to articles I've written and promoted? Regardless of the reason, you need to discuss your changes when they get reverted rather than restoring them (Wikipedia:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle) Dan56 (talk) 21:02, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Furthermore, edit warring and making minor, unnecessary changes (such as this to Misterioso and this to Election Special, an article I wonder how you discovered, along with Brown Sugar) to illustrate a point is not worth the trouble of getting blocked (WP:POINT). Please reconsider and take the time to explain your changes at the article's talk page. Dan56 (talk) 21:06, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Why are you threatening me? I'm not being disruptive, its you who is being disruptive. Jazzerino (talk) 22:07, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Marquee Moon. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 02:40, 7 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Tedious editing of articles[edit]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 03:20, 7 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop trying to scare me away with these overwhelming messages and ANs. Am I being arrested for making edits to Wikipedia?
  • No. You're blocked for editing in such a way that we can only conclude that you're following one single editor around for the purpose of harassing them. You should explain yourself. Drmies (talk) 13:39, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

June 2014[edit]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for attempting to harass other users. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  v/r - TP 03:59, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
What are you talking about? I have not harassed anyone in my life. Dan56 is trying to drive me away from jazz articles. He cannot be avoided because he edits almost every page I like. He has reverted my efforts at almost every page I like. Is this what Wikipedia is really all about? I found this WP:OWN, and I think it might applies to Dan56. Can you please clarify what I did wrong here? Jazzerino (talk) 18:17, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
