List of Hot 100 number-one singles of xxxx (U.S.)[edit]

Your edits to these pages have been reverted. Please do not change around artist and featured-artist credits, as they are shown exactly as Billboard listed them. Thanks. - eo (talk) 10:38, 19 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Loud (Rihanna album)[edit]

The next time you edit this article without a WP:Edit summary and/or make an edit which was previously reverted without good reason you will be blocked. Enough is enough please. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 23:09, 19 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Rainingmen rihanna.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Rainingmen rihanna.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 22:07, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your name.[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. However, I noticed that your username (Hard4me) may not meet Wikipedia's username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account and use that for editing. Thank you.

May 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Set Fire to the Rain, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 22:11, 23 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at American Top 40. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. P.S. -- this is in relation to adding the latest #1 song for the week; keep in mind that Wikipedia is not a newspaper or directory. Such additions is relevant to the chart, and not to the program itself. Thank you for your cooperation. -- azumanga (talk) 20:58, 28 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your username[edit]

I, for one, like your user name. It shows your free spirit and dedication to expression, even expression of a sexual nature. Don't let those nay sayers get you down -- just remember George Washington had to put up with all kinds of naysayers and criticism of HIS username and methods in his day... same for President Frederick Roosevelt and Joseph Stalin. All heroes in the eyes of world history! Chiendogg (talk) 04:59, 4 June 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Frederick Roosevelt? The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 06:26, 4 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Don't bother trying figure that out. It's the scribblings of a sock. Sarujo (talk) 06:53, 4 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely because it has become apparent that it is being used only for vandalism. Furthermore, your username is a blatant violation of our username policy, meaning that it is profane; threatens, attacks or impersonates another person; or suggests that your intention is not to contribute to the encyclopedia (see our blocking and username policies for more information).

We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, but users are not allowed to edit with inappropriate usernames, and trolling or other disruptive behavior is not tolerated. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I really wasn't using this account for vandalism. Other users accuse me of it but I'm not vandalizing on purpose (if that). As soon as I hear something, I make correct updates to pages. Hard4me (talk) 17:12, 4 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Socking + username violation is a winning combination, whether or not there was vandalism. It is very likely you will remain blocked. EdJohnston (talk) 02:42, 5 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Note from blocking admin: The user seemed to be making edits then quickly reverting them, which to me seems somewhat disruptive. I might accept his explanation, but there is the username issue and sock suspicions to deal with as well. Daniel Case (talk) 21:00, 4 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I don't know what socking is and how is my username an issue? Anyway, there is a typo on the International Love page and I was going to fix it. I can't because I'm blocked. By the way, I revert stuff because I misread things or I'm afraid things like this would happen. Hard4me (talk) 17:40, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

Decline reason:

I don't persoanlly find your username offensive, but some users evidently do, so I think your user name should be changed. I don't really see your editing as vandalism, and the sockpuppet suggestion seems to have been dismissed, so if you are prepared to make another unblock request, this time with a suggested user name change, there should be no obstacle to unblocking you. JamesBWatson (talk) 22:15, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know anything about the socking suspicion, so I am asking the administrator who blocked you and the one who declined your earlier block for clarification. You will have to be patient while we wait for a response. JamesBWatson (talk) 19:13, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for asking my opinion. I notice that User:Chiendogg, who commented above, is now blocked as a sock. One may ask why Chiendogg would have taken an interest in this page, unless he is a sock of the subject. That's my only data point for the socking. I actually don't see any overlap between the interests of Hard4me and Chiendogg, so perhaps I should drop that suspicion. The user name Hard4me might be taken by some as a sexual reference, and that's why I think a change of username should be required. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 19:35, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Cheindogg was a sock of the blocked editor Wiki brah. There have been causing disturbances in the Transformers articles. I got involved in the drama, so to speak, and now they seem to be heckling me. The comment above was made in response to my addressing H4M's username. Sarujo (talk) 21:12, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
OK, that seems to handle the sock issue. EdJohnston (talk) 22:03, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

OK, then, with that out of the way, would you agree to change your username as a condition of unblock? Do you have any other ideas in mind? Daniel Case (talk) 22:05, 8 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hard4me (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))

Request reason:

Sorry Daniel Case, but this is the only way to give you an answer to your response. I don't want to change my username. By the way, my username isn't making a sexual reference. When I was making this account, I thought it was hard for me to come up with a username to use, so I just chose hard4me. Hard4me (talk) 18:53, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Your name isn't the worst I've seen, but I can easily see how it can be considered offensive. The fact that you refuse to consider changing it is troubling. If you showed good faith with a username change request, I'd consider giving you a second chance, as long as you took pains to edit more constructively. The blocking administrator wasn't the first to show concern with your edits. -- Atama 00:30, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

(Given the concerns others have expressed and your fairly random way of coming up with the user name, perhaps "tough4me" or "difficult4me" would resolve the problem.) - SummerPhD (talk) 19:34, 9 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I really do not want to go against editors of significant experience, although I might now also be classified among them; but I do not see this user name as being in any way unacceptable. I am aware that the word "hard" is used as a synonym or description of "erection", but it also means "difficult", and indeed also means "solid" or "firm". I seriously feel that we are seeing sexual connotation where none exists, and would urge that this username be accepted as being harmless. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 20:05, 9 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I totally concur with Anthony Bradbury. We actually had an edit conflict on this same topic. Here is my post "Honestly, I do not believe that his username is "blatant violation of our username policy, meaning that it is profane; threatens, attacks or impersonates another person; or suggests that your intention is not to contribute to the encyclopedia." Personally, I believe this user should be unblocked without a change of username as a condition. However, I think a good condition would be that Hard4me leave a reasoning for his username on his user page in a way similar to SexyKick's." Ryan Vesey (talk) 20:08, 9 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
As I said in declining the previous unblock request, I don't find your username offensive. I'm not sure if it would even have occurred to me to read it in a sexual way if someone else hadn't raised the issue, and even if it had occurred to me I wouldn't have minded. However, as I also said above, some people do find it offensive, and that being so it seems to me that changing it to avoid causing offense would be reasonable. However, the situation has changed. Instead of being a user who, as far as I know, had no wish to cause offense but had unintentionally chosen a user name that some people found offensive, you have become a user who refuses to consider changing your username even though you now know that some people are offended by it. What is more, there does not seem to be any evident reason for being so attached to the particular username. According to your account, you chose the name in a quite arbitrary way, and it is difficult to see why you should care about it strongly enough to be unwilling to change it. A user who so resolutely refuses to make a change that means so little to them but is offensive to others might well be a user who is unable to work collaboratively with others, as is needed for a Wikipedia editor. Consequently I am now about ten times more strongly opposed to unblocking you than I was when I declined your previous unblock request. However, having declined one request I will leave this one for another administrator to assess, and you may be lucky. JamesBWatson (talk) 20:42, 9 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
While I stand by my earlier comment, I also wholly agree with the comment made above by JamesBWatson. While the name is not in itself offensive, IMHO, there seems to be no reason to resist changing it. We are a community here, and we try to live in comfort with each other. So let us do so, without angst. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 20:54, 9 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
How do I change my username? Hard4me (talk) 18:12, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
To request an unblock to change name, use {{unblock-un}}. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 21:36, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

easy4me (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)

Accept reason:

Allowing username change to requested username. Please put this request in at Wikipedia:Changing username as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. JamesBWatson (talk) 12:32, 11 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • The username you have requested already exists. However, the account was created 4 years ago and has never made a single edit, so it should be OK for you to take it over. You should read the page Wikipedia:Changing username, and then click on the link "Usurpations" almost at the bottom of that page. That will take you to the page where you can file a request to take over that username. I do hope that now you can get on with contributing to Wikipedia, with no more problems.
