Blocked for username[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you. —Cryptic 01:40, 3 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

Allowing username change to requested username. Please put this request in at Wikipedia:Changing username as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. PhilKnight (talk) 11:11, 4 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

...and I've reblocked, since you just continued to edit the article on your organization instead. —Cryptic 13:43, 10 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I could use a little help. I spent the better part of an hour last week trying to figure out how to change my username to "ChrisHealthyHousing," per our previous discussion, but the instructions were not clear to me. Can you provide explicit instructions about where to go and what to do?
As for it being written like an advertisement, I disagree. The only biased line I recall was "preeminent," which was posted by someone else a very long time ago who doesn't work for this organization. Once this blocking problem is squared away, I will happily review the entry for any signs of bias and remove them. If there was something in particular that offended, please let me know and I will look at it.
Please advise. — Preceding unsigned comment added by NatCtr4HH (talk • contribs) 14:43, 10 February 2015‎ (UTC)[reply]
The reasonable thing to do would have been to ask for help before returning to that article. There are simplified, step-by-step instructions at Wikipedia:Changing username/Simple. I am unblocking so that you can follow them; you should take no other action on Wikipedia until you do so. —Cryptic 15:03, 10 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize for the infraction. The problem is that our office manager and several others both in- and outside the organization felt that our Wikipedia entry was an embarrassment, and it was assigned to me to overhaul it, telling the most complete and accurate series of events by 2/9/15. Technically, I will not have made my deadline, but the page is much better than it was.

I'm going to try again on the name change thing. If I continue to have trouble, I'll be back shortly.

---

The simplified instructions are MUCH easier. Thank you.

Do I need to wait for the completion of my username change to resume work on the National Center for Healthy Housing page? I will attempt to address the neutrality issues.
