Just saying hi to myself.

The article Harold G. Stoner has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Harold G. Stoner requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Status and Advice[edit]

As reviewing administrator, I did not delete the article; I think you need a chance to finish it. Please add information about his notable works, and references to him. I advise you to do this very quickly, before the article gets nominated for deletion by a regular deletion process. DGG ( talk ) 20:13, 11 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Bacone15.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Bacone15.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Suggest you add the text from Template:Information#Usage to your images (and fill in the blanks after the = signs)- if you don't specify a source it's going to get tagged for deletion again Ronhjones  (Talk)

Thanks for the note. Hopefully I've addressed the issue. --BladeBronson (talk) 01:14, 1 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Bacone15.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Bacone15.jpg, which you've attributed to https://www.google.com/search?q=crispy+bacon&tbm=isch&tbs=simg:CAQSZxplCxCo1NgEGgQIBQgIDAsQsIynCBo8CjoIAhIUxBKrFfMOzBL2Fe8O3hWXCqgMwxIaIH3CyqnN42rJMWvmEIID2_1zfBExyHZI1du7uiaEY_1MTkDAsQjq7-CBoKCggIARIEaGZWcgw,isz:l&sa=X&ei=QXbeU-TfBOqS7AaY6oH4BQ&ved=0CB8Q2A4oBA&biw=1366&bih=643#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=TJwlcW-m5bbi_M%253A%3BCRcxhhc5cahfAM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fi.imgur.com%252FlAsHlnn.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fimgur.com%252Fgallery%252FlAsHlnn%252Fcomment%252F71031717%3B2448%3B3264. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Green Giant (talk) 17:52, 3 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
