Message from Glorious Japan Forever[edit]

Hey, Blackguard! It's me, Glorious Japan, again. I'm back from the dead! :)

So you chose to carry on our rivalry going all the way back to June 9, over the Ahn Jung-geun article, huh? Well, you fought honorably, Blackie. Good man.

Very sincerely yours,

Blackguard,

I would like to know what in the text of the article that I created for thepublicblogger do you think is for promotion or advertising reasons? I have made this page because Person is doing things on his blog that have never been done before. Everything stated by me is from a point of neutrality. Your perception of it however is that it is not, which is wrong. Please show me in the text where it is not being neutral so that edits can be made. A speedy deletion is an erroneous decision on your part.

I want to get this resolved as quickly as possible because Thepublicblogger needs to have an article up so the world can see what this man is doing.

Neither the blog nor blogger are notable yet. When the site receives substantial recognition and satisfies Wikipedia's guideline for notability, the article can be recreated. Blackguard 21:40, 9 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Solutrean hypotheis[edit]

Your edit stimulated me to do a quick search on Google scholar. "Refuting the technological cornerstone of the Ice-Age Atlantic crossing hypothesis" Journal of Archaeological Science 40 (2013) [1]. Dougweller (talk) 17:59, 18 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, an interesting read. Mamma mia, that's some sloppy science. Blackguard 19:27, 18 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

EHNE[edit]

You wrote that you thought my page was promotional, but it is not. There is no business, foundation, company associated with the page. It is just a page on a new nursing theory, and it was referenced with the peer-reviewed journal where the theory is published. There is no money to be gained, and the only promotion is truly dissemination of the evidenced based practiced associated with the research within this article. There are several citations provided and a link to the webpage for the theory (which is ALSO not a business, foundation, or company) - just informational. So can the ban be lifted? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Minimer01 (talk • contribs) 20:45, 21 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There is no ban. The article was deleted because it was complete jargon. If your new theory receives significant coverage in reliable sources, someone else can recreate it. Blackguard 07:22, 22 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Street 42 (book)[edit]

Hello Blackguard SF. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Street 42 (book), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: A7 does not apply to books. Thank you. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 00:38, 7 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

About speedy deletion nomination for Cleartrip Private Limited[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because Cleartrip is one of the leading Online travel agents in India. All the product and services launches were added with references from various news websites. I have gone through the content again and couldn't figure out what exactly was promotional in it. It would be great if you can let me know what I need to change (examples of promotional content) to make sure all the guidelines are met for the page. Aaryan Sachdev (talk) 08:07, 8 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article was filled with promotional hype and PR jargon, like "leading". Wikipedia is not the place to promote your business. Blackguard 22:35, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on User talk:Dsdgfgsa, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

CSD notices of many deleted spam pages created by this blocked user contain search phrases and website

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. —[AlanM1(talk)]— 09:06, 17 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because...

I work for the Storage Networking Industry Association. We have regional affiliate websites around the world that take our content, including web pages and deliver them in their local region. So, in fact SNIA Europe have copied our original material, not the other way around. nevertheless, we are all part of the same organisation and so it follows that the content will be identical.

Please don't delete without checking out all the SNIA websites around the world to prove what I'm saying is correct. What I'm doing is perfectly legitimate (i know they all say that). www.snia.org (US HQ) www.snia-europe.org) EMEA www.snia-sa.org APAC www.sniaindia.org etc etc — Preceding unsigned comment added by Paultalbut (talk • contribs) 06:22, 30 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The URLs you provide claim "Copyright © 2014 SNIA", and the text hasn't been granted copyright permission by the copyright holder. Even if you do work for the SNIA, we wouldn't want it anyway, since your contributions were promotional and you have a clear conflict of interest. Blackguard 07:03, 30 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I deleted the article. However, could you give some reason why you think it is made up or a hoax. This one was on the easy side to tell, but remember, we dumb admins are slow. Bgwhite (talk) 06:33, 5 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

OK. Blackguard 08:26, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

We are new to Wikipedia and would like to create an article explaining the organization The Atlantic Institute. Can you please direct us in the proper editing and explain why this page was tagged for a speedy deletion? Your advise is very much appreciated. Thank you. Atlinstitute (talk) 15:48, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

First, change your username so it doesn't violate Wikipedia's policy on usernames. Then, wait for someone else to create the article for you - someone who doesn't have a conflict of interest like working for or at the organization. This will happen when or if the Atlantic Institute becomes notable. Finally, cross your fingers and hope nobody else notices your promotional edits and blocks you from editing. Message[edit]

Hi, got your message regarding my edit on Sagarika Ghose page. My version is based on a news bit that has recently appeared in a leading newspaper. Is it okay to give the reference, to support the edit? Will it then be accepted?

Karyakarta (talk) 03:58, 16 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It's already supported by a reference. If you have a citation that contradicts BBC News that says Ghose was not harassed online, present it on the talk page. Though you should read Wikipedia's policy on weasel words before asserting phrases like "claimed to be" first. Blackguard 04:27, 16 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A newbie tring to do the right thing :)

This business is a minority owned business which is very involved within the community and neighborhood revitalization. It helps single mothers and low income families. It is very significate to the community and others are asking more and more about this company. We have supported and use Wikipedia for many years and see it as a good resource for the people who are inquiring to get the knowledge. This was my first attempt to create a contribution. And I don’t want the company to not have a presents on this site because I may have incorrectly entered or formatted information.

Dear Wikipedia

I wish to insert the following entries in Wikipedia:

1 Bierton Society of Strict and Particular Baptists. This was a Society in law founded in 1831. Its chapel building who ownership is described in its Trust deed register with the Land Registry in the UK. WHY!!![edit]

Why did you delete my page. "Franklin County Constable Office" Just because you have the "power" does not mean you should use it all the time. I have the power of arrest but I'm not going around arresting people because I can. That was a legitimate page for my county. and the links where my info was pulled are listed.

Dick!!![edit]

You sir, would be what we call a dick. Fuck you and Wikipedia, ban me who cares. I was trying to have a page of knowledge and you deleted it. Probably JUST because of your own feelings towards the office. So score one for you on setting america back 50 years. How pathetic your life must be to have to oppose your "power" on wiki to delete pages as you feel fit. I don't believe one person should have the sole responsibility to be able to do so. This is straight Dictatorship of the internet. And I declare you deleting my page vandalism. So who punishes you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zacharyschul (talk) 19:21, 7 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

nobody owns Blackjack[edit]

Hey guy, you do not own Blackjack. You do not get to say who makes the rules. Also, nothing else in the "Variations of Blackjack" section is sourced so why exactly does mine have to be. I am doing legitimate research on gambling (which includes types of games you have never heard of by the way) and I happen to find Cut-throat Blackjack to be quite an interesting variation of the game. As soon as I have the research done I would be glad to make a full SOURCED Wikipedia page for it. Until then, why don't you be a sport and quit trolling a PUBLIC (as in Blackjack is not owned by anyone) page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.33.131.212 (talk) 06:47, 14 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Find a source first, please. You may find Wikipedia's policy on verifiability quite interesting also. Blackguard 06:54, 14 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion contested: Piggy Phrasalea[edit]

Hello Blackguard SF, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of Piggy Phrasalea, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Not blatantly vandalism or a hoax. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. Dusti*Let's talk!* 18:08, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I just clued in on the name play "Piggy Phrasalea" but the article seemed to be a copy/paste to duplicate Iggy. My apologies. It would have qualified as both. Dusti*Let's talk!* 18:10, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe you didn't get the joke because it wasn't funny. Blackguard 21:19, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Cite error: There are <ref> tags on this page without content in them (see the help page).I´m sorry but I can't stand this woman...I'm going to delete it and work on it....I know that I copied it and changed some words or I won't make nothing, I only hate her and I invented her new username for haters to calling her Piggy Phrasalea :D

Obesity medicine Speedy Deletion[edit]

Speedy Deletion of Obesity Medicine- Please review the Obesity Medicine page. There is no copyright infringement (please re-evaluate) as noted and it is a worthy topic (hence the 87 references I supplied). I am not sure why speedy deletion is requested of a page on an entire specialty of medicine for which there is no current content on Wikipedia. Please help to resolve this issue.Fstanfordmd (talk) 01:59, 18 December 2014 (UTC)FstanfordmdFstanfordmd (talk) 01:59, 18 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There have been three notices from multiple editors on your talk page. It should be pretty clear after reading them. To summarize: you can't just copy and paste into Wikipedia. Blackguard 02:08, 18 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
