Ian Scott

Hmm, never knew about that. Well if you look at the AFC East templates you'll see Pats1 and I have been doing it a little different. We just didn't see the point in a ton of separate reserve list when we could just specify it within. So look at those, like Template:Miami Dolphins roster. This way, we'll just have it say Minor Injured Reserve.►Chris Nelson 20:28, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

So where the hell did that come from today at Durova's talk page? If you read the page, you can clearly see Ksy92003 was the disruptive and childish one. Telling him he needs to be more mature isn't a personal attack - it's the truth.►Chris NelsonHolla! 03:01, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

As far as I can see in that conversation, Ksy92003 disagreed with you, but you were the one who sunk to personal attacks like "Are you F&*$ing Blind", "grow up", and something involving pubes. Actually, i'm not sure which of WP:NPA or WP:CIVIL they violate, but it's one of the other. Bjewiki 03:06, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
Then you are mistaken. Ksy92003 took the conversation off-topic with his immaturity, paranoia and personal attacks. He's the reason that discussion is no longer civil and talking about the Patriots.►Chris NelsonHolla! 03:12, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
I know I shouldn't say anything, but I continue to feel compelled to defend myself. After a long day at a baseball rally for my Angels, and coming back and seeing what went on during my absence, I still fail to see how I am the cause of this. I didn't make any personal attack, unlike you, and I didn't bring the conversation off-topic, unlike Pats1. I'll repeat what I've said almost everywhere else on Wikipedia: Pats1's comment was the first comment to be made that wasn't related to the discussion. I defend myself. The first comment I made not related to the topic was after Pats1's comment, which wasn't related to the topic. In fact, even my comment there was related, as I was questioning why Chris changed his opinion on the topic. Every comment I made that was possibly unrelated to the topic was in defense.
And I fail to see how comments like "'Are you F&*$ing Blind', 'grow up', and something involving pubes" are meant to be kind phrases. I fail to see how saying things like that are gonna make anybody feel happy. Ksy92003(talk) 05:10, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

That has nothing to do with WP:OWN. Give it a rest.►Chris NelsonHolla! 03:10, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

But Bjewiki does make a good point. Chris, you are too rash when reverting. If somebody says something that you don't know if it's true or not doesn't mean anything. Just because you don't think something is true doesn't mean it isn't.
Somebody makes an edit. You don't have a source, and you revert them. I haven't ever seen you provide a source for all the edits you've made to those roster templates, so should I just revert every single one of them because you didn't provide a source? Since you think you can do this, I suppose I can too, right? Ksy92003(talk) 06:03, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
This seems quite hypocritical, actually. To revert somebody because they didn't provide a source when you edit the same exact articles and have never provided a source seems quite hypocritical. And actually, this does appear to be close to violations of WP:OWN and WP:AGF. Somebody edits the same article that you did and makes an edit that you don't believe is true. You revert them. You edit the same article and makes an edit, but you don't provide a source, either. I definitely don't think it's fair to revert somebody's edit to one article/template for lack of a source when I've yet to see you ever provide a source for editing the roster templates. Seems hypocritical to me.
But I already know that Chris has no interest in discussing this; he will revert on sight any part of this discussion on his talk page (he has done already) which is kinda sad because this is important and should be discussed by the involved parties. What Chris has done in this case is wrong and violations of WP:OWN and WP:AGF. Ksy92003(talk) 13:34, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
For the record, the only reason why I wouldn't revert Chris ("You don't have a source, and you revert them. I haven't ever seen you provide a source for all the edits you've made to those roster templates, so should I just revert every single one of them because you didn't provide a source? Since you think you can do this, I suppose I can too, right?") is because this would violate WP:POINT, something that Chris has been blocked for before. Ksy92003(talk) 13:44, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
Correct, reverting all roster edits made by Chris that go in without a source would indeed violate WP:POINT. Bjewiki 13:59, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
Although it would violate WP:POINT, it seems like it would be the right thing to do. It's completely unfair for Ppw1148‎ that Chris and Pats1 could revert whatever they want because they have experience. Ksy92003(talk) 21:41, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Interesting comment...

I was browsing through past versions of Chris' talk page, and I saw an interesting comment. An anon made this edit ([1]) to Elevator (album). Chris reverted him ([2]). PEJL reverted Chris ([3]). Chris reverted PEJL right back ([4]).

PEJL left a comment on Chris' talk page about this: ("[A]re you saying you know [the] anonymous editor is wrong, or merely that you think them are being wrong is a possibility, and that you choose to assume so[?]") This is interesting because of the Tank Johnson jersey number, where Chris didn't trust the user who had supplied a number.

Therefore, this isn't the first time that Chris reverted somebody's edit because the editor was an anon or a new user. It seems like it's just a part of Chris' character to naturally not trust people just because they are inexperienced, or whatever. Again, it seems hypocritical that Chris would revert somebody's edit because he doesn't trust them, but he expects us to trust him all the time just because he edits a single page a lot.

It's really sad that Chris chooses to behave this way, and I wish that he could learn to treat people with respect... but unfortunately, that's something that I'm only gonna be able to dream about. Ksy92003(talk) 01:32, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Actually... I verified my edit on the track lengths was correct with the actual CD. That's why I reverted his edits. Because he was wrong and I had proof in front of me.►Chris NelsonHolla! 02:36, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
Not according to your edit at User talk:PEJL: "I just didn't trust his edits." Ksy92003(talk) 03:00, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

Delhomme

My bad on deleting Delhomme, I was just trying to undo the move to I.R. (since I can't find it as official anywhere) and I guess I rushed it and didn't pay attention. Thanks for fixing.►Chris NelsonHolla! 00:29, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Just read the article

Read the Easterbrook article and you can plainly see that he is, it was quoted numerous times in the article. Yes you may be a Colts fan, Yes you may be a Patriots fan, Or maybe you just don't care. It does not matter. What matters is that the article had segments on Rome is Burning, Around the Horn, and PTI, all condemning the article, and the assertions in it. When brought on WEEI on tuesday morning on the Dennis and Calahan show he made a repeated assaulted the character of Tom Brady, for the sole reason that he did not marry the women he impregnated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stoked (talk • contribs) 00:59, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

I've read the article...I read TMQ every Tuesday, and i'm neither a Colts nor a Patriots fan. The point is, that while it might be some "hot water cooler talk", unless you have some sources showing that it's a controversy, it violates WP:VERIFY. Much of it is original research violatingWP:NOR. Additionally, the tone of the edit seems to indicate that you're a Patriots fan, because it clearly shows POV, violating WP:NPOV. I still don't believe that it belongs in the article, but since I can't revert it without violating WP:3RR, I cleaned it up, removing all the original research & POV slant.
