This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of God Save The Queen (Pistols Version), and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: God Save the Queen (Sex Pistols song). It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:God Save The Queen.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:God Save The Queen.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:06, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Chaz Jankel.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 10:18, 10 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Stiff Logo.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Stiff Logo.JPG. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Additionally, if you continue uploading bad images, you may be blocked from uploading. STBotI (talk) 16:41, 14 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Thanxz Obento Musubi[edit]

A tag has been placed on Thanxz Obento Musubi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. NanohaA'sYuriTalk, My master 19:24, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of HaClique[edit]

A tag has been placed on HaClique requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

Please stop assuming ownership of articles such as HaClique. Doing so may lead to disruptive behavior such as edit wars and is a violation of policy, which may lead to a block from editing. KurtRaschke (talk) 18:57, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Haclick.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Haclick.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 23:31, 4 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use Image:Haclick.JPG[edit]

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Haclick.JPG. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Stifle (talk) 14:21, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (File:Close to Home.JPG)[edit]

You've uploaded File:Close to Home.JPG, and indicated that it's used under Wikipedia's rules for non-free images. However, it's not presently used in any articles. Wikipedia policy requires that non-free images be either used or deleted, so if this image isn't used in an article in the next week, it will be deleted.

Hi, could you please explain your revision to User:Dylan Howe (as shown here)? Your summary of "No CBs Please!!" does not explain anything. My rationale for courtesy blanking was that the page does not conform to WP:UP#NOT, was redundant to the user's article, and that the version on the user page was a violation of a number of guidelines (WP:COI, WP:NPOV WP:SPAM – the article has been rewritten to reflect these). Revisions like this should at least warrant a note on either my talk page or the user's talk page, where a note on my blanking had already been placed. As it stands, the page is a violation of WP:UP#NOT – specifically that it documents a user's non-Wikipedia activities in a promotional manner. I've not reverted your revision, and will wait until your response. Regards, Cycle~ (talk) 18:03, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

User:Bapunque/HaClique[edit]

I have moved the page to User:Bapunque/HaClique so that you can use it and continue working on it. You can move it back to the main article space whenever you think it is ready since it was deleted via the Proposed Deletion process, but untill you can find sources to support notability it is likely to be taken to WP:AfD and deleted. Thank you for your contribution in any event. The hard work of article creators is appriciated even by those of us whomore often prune content than write it from scratch. OK, sorry that you thought my minor edits were "unhelpful". Just so you know, I am allowed to edit that page without permission from anyone, but I'm happy to stay away from it from now on. May I offer you a few pointers?

  • The name of the article that appears in the lead sentence should be in bold
  • Every article should ideally have at least one category
  • The month is spelled "February", not "Febuary"

No offense taken, Punque. In addition to the other edits I made, I assumed the album was recorded between June '82 and February '83, so I added the word "to", but if not then I shouldn't have added that. List of songwriter tandems[edit]

In the article List of songwriter tandems, you wrote, "Please don't remove Dury + Jankel, as the writing partnership was influential in the Punk movement; check New Boots and Panties." As stated in the article introduction, the list "is limited to pairs responsible for multiple hit records or hit Broadway shows over a lengthy period of time, with influence and staying power measured in decades." Notwithstanding Dury + Jankel'a influence in the Punk movement, have they had multiple hit records or hit Broadway shows over a lengthy period of time? —hulmem (talk) 21:14, 3 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

Fair use or non free images can't be used in galleries, according to NFCC; this is why they were removed twice before being nominated for deletion. Copyright issues aren't the problem, but Wikipedia rules for non-free content. There is also no text commentary or references in the article to support the need for the use of the images. Feel free to get another opinon at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. We hope (talk) 16:17, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If you provide commentary and references, it may help prove the point that the images are needed in the article. As it is right now, there's no text or references to either of the images, which means they would be considered decorative. Decorative images are fine, but they have to be free use ones--not fair use or non-free. Hope this helps. We hope (talk) 18:53, 14 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Ferre Grignard + 5th Ball Gang.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Ferre Grignard + 5th Ball Gang.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 22:22, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Juan+Mutant.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. May 2013[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Laughter (album) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Album covers[edit]

Hi - I have removed the album covers you added to WWB's discography, as we cannot use non-free images in this way. Please see WP:NFC#UUI which specifically states this under "Unacceptable use" - "Images" - "2 An album cover as part of a discography". Almost the only place you can use an album cover is in the infobox of an article about that album. Arjayay (talk) 10:10, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for January 16[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mound of Sound, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bandora (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The article Nearly Free Video E.P. has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable EP. No evidence of awards, charting or in depth coverage in independent reliable sources.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on File:The Seaside.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. -- Marchjuly (talk) 09:55, 3 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
