Thank you for making corrections to this article. I wrote the architectural section of the article which I found vandalised. My article had been there for four years withouth change and had stood the test of time. But then somebody keeps removing paragraphs. Please keep an eye on this work. I have restored it to the point 22:43, 26 November 2009 79.77.139.65 which are the last of my three edits. I have also put back a photograph of the Mosque. I do not get involved in the politics of the dispute really I only write on architecture of old monuments both Jewish Hindu and Muslim in India and elsewhere. But as a architect i say again I only intrested in architecture of monuments. I would be very grateful if you can keep an eye on my article and revert to 22:43, 26 November 2009 79.77.139.65 which is the original for comparison. I originally wrote the article (architectural section) in 2006 and it keeps getting vandalised only recently as the Mosque has been in the Indian news. Of Course I welcome and would be very happy if the section was improved by a fellow wikipedian with an interest in architecture of religious monuments. Of course that was a useful edit. I refer to my own practice of correcting a page I don't regularly edit as dog-legging. See User:Nishidani. I noticed that you recently added a {{prod}} tag to Mark D. Stowers, with a rationale of "Unnecessary.There has been no discussion or improvements till date.Should be deleted." That isn't a valid reason for deletion, and so wouldn't get the article deleted.

The category and/or article to which this contribution belongs is indeed an interesting question. In fact, there is likely not an exact answer. It appears that the best location would be a (hypothetical) category of "Ahmadiyya Muslim Literature in China." It does not belong under "Categories: Chinese books of divination," because these are not materials of a divinatory nature; rather, they are more of a prophetic nature. Perhaps [Category:Ahmadiyya Muslim Community] would be best, of existing categories. The following categories also appear to be worth considering: [Category:Islam in China] [Category:Religion in the People's Republic of China]. The relationship between Ahmadiyya and Islam in general appears somewhat problematical to me, and I am no expert in this regard. Adi, first of all I did not call anyone an "idiot", please submit a diff to support that claim. On the contrary, I am continuously being insulted by User:Debona.michel ("vandal", etc.), and I should have probably reported him for repeated violations of WP:NPA immediately. Secondly, the article in question on the House of Bunić has been deleted, but was then restored by a sock of a the banned User:Ragusino. It should be speedily deleted per WP:SD criteria G4. I did not add any "unsourced information", but merely translated the Italian names (added by the Italian sock), as this is enWiki not itWiki. Yes, that's what User:Debona.michel calls "adding unsourced information".

Finally, I'd like to remind you that you are assisting a user that is openly asking you "how do I ban this person?". This would be highly unWiki-like even if it had any basis, but this account has demonstrated no evidence of a breach of policy that would even come close to warranting a community ban. Thanks Adi. First of all Direktor is already trying to influence you by saying he has changed "Italian names"...this is his personal opinion and this where the problem lies. These names are not "Italian" but rather "Ragusan" -- we are talking about the former Republic of Ragusa. which today lies inside Croatia. He is basically saying the English page should have Slavic names because he (and his colleagues - notably Ivan Stambuk) have decided this is how it should be and anyone who gets in their way should be chased away with a barrage of Wikipedia rules.The so-called "Italian names" have been used for centuries in Dubrovnik and continue to be used to this day (phone book + tombstones, etc.). I am a Croatian citizen (I'm not Italian...) and a direct descendant of this family which to this day uses the name Bona rather than Bunic and this is why I am against this unjustified change. I am not aware that "vandal" is an insult. As far as I know it is a term used for people who modify content without giving any justified explanation. We are dealing with hard-line nationalists (maybe my POV again) who are very coordinated in their actions (24/7) and this needs to be stopped. Direktor has a personal grudge agaisnt Ragusino and tries to destroy all of his work. Ragusino may be banned, not following procedure, etc. but he created the pages for the Ragusan aristocratic families which were then completely Slavicized by Direktor - even creating (translating) names that didn't exist on the House of Caboga page according to user Caboga. It makes Wikipedia an unreliable source of information. The sources that are used on the House of Bona (now House of Bunic - thanks to Direktor) use the name BONA. I would (grudgingly) agree if all the names had dual entries but not just Slavic...(just to appease some people). Who is this "nationalist POV-pusher" Direktor is referring to? I just want my family's name not to be modified. If my ancestors were not famous people this would not be an issue. It is really a conflict of names of non-Slavic origin which are forcefully being Slavicized because it makes Croatian (Slavic) history look better to outsdiders. This may be my POV but I know it is shared by many other people. I suggest you keep a close eye on his activities (and whoever is moderating - supervising content) and you will see what I mean by "coordinated actions"...It was Ivan Stambuk who alerted Direktor (on his talk page in Croatian) that the House of Bona page was up again, with "Italian" names posted by a new "patient"...ie, time to give him some medicine. It is being planned to organize Wikigraphists Bootcamp in India, please fill out the survey form to help the organizers. Your responses will help organizers understand what level of demand there is for the event (how many people in your community think it is important that the event happens). At the end of the day, the participants will turn out to have knowledge to create drawings, illustrations, diagrams, maps, graphs, bar charts etc. and get to know to how to tune the images to meet the QI and FP criteria. In 2017 - 2018, the Wikimedia Foundation and Google working in close coordination with the Centre for Internet and Society (CIS), Wikimedia India chapter (WMIN) and user groups will pilot a program encouraging Wikipedia communities to create locally relevant and high-quality content in Indian languages. This program (Code name: Project Tiger) will:

(a) Support active and experienced Wikipedia editors through the donation of laptops and stipends for internet access and

(b) Sponsor a language-based contest that aims to address existing Wikipedia content gaps.

The objective of the program is to provide laptops and internet stipends for existing editors who need support to contribute more actively. 50 basic model Acer Chromebooks and Internet stipends for 100 contributors are available for distribution. Provided resources are the sole property of the beneficiaries and should be used for the betterment of the movement.

If you're an active Wikimedian, and interested to receive support from this project, please apply. It will take around 10 minutes of your time, and will ask descriptive questions about your contribution to Indic Wikimedia projects.

Phase (a) has been completed, during which active contributors were awarded laptops and internet stipends. Phase (b) will be a contest in which editors will come together and develop a writing contest focused on content gaps. Each month three individual prizes will be awarded to each community based on their contribution for the month. The prizes worth 3,000 INR, 2000 INR, and 1,000 INR, will be awarded to the top contributors for each month. The contest started at March 1, 2018, 0:00, and will end at May 31, 2018, 23:59 (IST).
