Information icon Hello, I'm Moriwen. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Dominic Mancini, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Moriwen (talk) 16:46, 3 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo. Which is the bit you mean? The verbatim quotation from Mancini's chapter V is of course referenced to it; as to the latin text itself, it is from Annette Carson's 2021 book; but she says that she used the transcript from the Lille manuscript made by A.C.J. Armstrong, so there is, sofar as I know, only one latin version, whatever source you use for it.
The other bit, about the Lille manuscript being a copy not the original is also from Annette Carson's book, precisely the introduction to the text and translation, as referenced in my addition. Carson's book is already quoted at the bottom with full particulars. I answered the appeal in the talk page, for some who had read Carson's book to add a little information to the page. Since I own it in e-book form, I can't quote page numbers. 93.36.218.51 (talk) 17:08, 3 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You must understand that it's not for other people to do your work for you. If you don't have the citations, don't post the content. You can keep your proposed wording in your sandbox until such time as you are able to verify the content. Deb (talk) 19:09, 23 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
