yeah so....[edit]

just wanted to let you know, im using an unblocked VPN and have a poop tonne of IP addresses, and I am clearly trying to include something in this article, so if you could just stop undoing what i edit, that would be great. I can keep doing this forever and you can't, because you are constrained to one IP address, so if you want to make this easier on yourself, just stop and let me do what i do best :) 198.23.71.99 (talk) 21:53, 11 May 2014 (UTC)Anon[reply]

808 Mafia[edit]

Looks like there is a lot of beef going on with Southside and some of the other more minor members of 808 Mafia. You might want to check out Southside's twitter feed. TM88 is officially out. Jaye Neutron and more likely J. Moss could be out too. However, Southside did not make any straight up ".... is out of 808" like he did with TM88. A sample of tweets include [1], [2] and [3]. It looks like Jaye Neutron and J.Moss deleted most of the tweets they posted, but it might be too soon to make a call and straight up move them to past members. We know that none of the major sources XXL, The Source, HHDX, etc. are going to be reporting this since they are more minor members of the group. I mean they did not even report TM88 leaving the group, and he was like their third in command. What do you think? STATic message me! 00:48, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@STATicVapor: I am not even sure if TM88 officially left or they are just having some beef and throwing such "statements" around. TM just put out a new song, which got 808 Mafia tag all over it. I checked Southside's Twitter few days ago, and he was just saying how he's the CEO and him and TM claiming credit for various tracks. Now I see he's on to other members, too, but I wouldn't call them past members till someone states explicitly that they are. It doesn't need to be a major publication, but a message stating "past member / has left" from any of the involved's official Twitter should do. 2Flows (talk) 21:54, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I feel the same, a few IPs have been making the changes so I felt it needed to be covered. The new song would have the 808 Mafia tag since it was more then likely produced before all this drama. It would waste too much time to go back into it and change it. If it continues heavily I will request protection at WP:RFPP. STATic message me! 22:41, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@STATicVapor: Do you think that's a reliable source about Lex? [4] In the intro of their debut mixtape, released in October 2012, Southside speaks that 808 Mafia consists of himself + Lex + others. This is over a year after the publication says Lex had left, which doesn't make sense to me. 2Flows (talk) 16:38, 2 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I mean I thought so, the source is XXL and its a profile of 808 Mafia to a degree (abit focused on Southside and TM88) but hmmmm. I have noticed Lex has really distanced himself from 808, now forming Low Pros and signing to Fool's Gold Records, so it does make sense. Did he appear on their most recent mixtape or has he collaborated with any of them significantly recently? Southside might have just said that to give the group more name value for their debut, since Lex's name is associated with them. STATic message me! 17:01, 2 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@STATicVapor: I don't think Lex is a member anymore either, I haven't seen a 808 Mafia-credited song, produced by him in ages. And as you said he's working on new projects now. I just doubt the fact he left as early as 2011. But since XXL says so, I guess we can go with it. 2Flows (talk) 17:51, 2 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Expedia[edit]

Hi 2Flows,

I highly value your contributions to Wikipedia, and your copy-editing skills are very accurate. I would like to ask you if you could make edits to the page of Expedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expedia), as there is some information missing from the page. Would you be willing to make edits to the page so that it's complete? The main areas that I think needs more information are the infobox on the top right, and external links.

To be specific, I think the infobox at top right needs more information, and fields more in line with other global travel brands like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TripAdvisor, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trivago or and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vodafone_Hutchison_Australia. The infobox also needs to change URLs to be within 'website' (at the bottom) rather than 'Web address' (at the top), and it needs to include links to Expedia ccTLD: US, CA, UK, AU & NZ (in that order) in the same shape as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trivago In regards to external Links, I think it should link to Expedia ccTLD in the same shape as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TripAdvisor with the same links as on #3.

Let me know, I would highly appreciate your assistance in this matter.

Changes to wording in the White privilege[edit]

Hello,

I noticed you reverted my change in the introductory sentece of the White privilege page.

I explained myself in the Talk page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:White_privilege#Proposed_wording_for_opening_sentence

Could you please explain your decision to me? I don't see how my change was WP:NOTOPINION considering the fact that following my addition of the word supposedly the introduction also contains words like unspoken and presumed.

Thank you

Are you sure I Came To Dig is vandalism? It looks like no context to me, as it looks like a good faith creation. Thanks. --Lixxx235 (talk) 19:02, 31 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Lixxx235. The page had already been speedily deleted twice today, and considering the new content it had (something among the lines of "do not delete this page") and the creator's other edits (which include adding "Do not delete my pages" to his talk page) and history of creating inappropriate articles, I concluded it counts as vandalism. It seems that the admin who deleted the page agreed with that. 2Flows (talk) 22:50, 31 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Cary Grant Edit[edit]

I removed the last section on Cary Grant's personal life because I consider it slander. I don't see how it it relevant to include, Grant himself denied being gay along with members of his family. Including those accusations about Grant on his page only makes a respected actor look bad. It's basically gossip, so why should it be included? The section I removed is pointless to include on his page since it has been refuted by his family. Its just slander. That is why I removed it. So if you could restore my edits that would be great. Thanks Jgormanart (talk) 21:30, 17 July 2014 (UTC) Jgormanart (talk)[reply]

Hello, Jgormanart. The information you removed was well referenced, and since you did not provide an edit summary to explain your removal, your edit was reverted. If you think you have a valid point, please discuss the matter on the article's talk page. You can note there have been previous related discussions, such as Talk:Cary Grant#Sexuality issue in current article and Talk:Cary Grant#Sexuality. Since both are quite old, you can start a new section at the bottom of the article. 2Flows (talk) 21:41, 17 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
That's bogus! That garbage would never be included in a real encyclopedia. So you can slander whoever you want, as long as it is sourced right? And the person isn't alive to defend themselves. I guess wikipedia isn't big on integrity.

"The Feminists" article[edit]

I feel this article is un-notable and is very biased to matriarchy and is promotional of the organisation, and also I did not see any criticism or any other viewpoints — Preceding unsigned comment added by IrritatingCobalt (talk • contribs) 16:52, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again, IrritatingCobalt. I do not feel any of the tags you added to that article were appropriate so I removed them. First, I don't see how an article about a group which has disbanded in 1973 can be outdated, without presence of recent related events. Second, most of the article has sufficient inline citations. And third, I disagree about the claim the article is promotional - as I read through it, I would say it is following WP:NPOV. Also, based on your edit history, I can see that this is not the first time you have added inappropriate tags to articles, e.g. [7], [8], [9], all over the past 2 days. Considering your comment here, where you stated "I can make protracted maintance tags to obstruct the article" (22:40) and three minutes later added a bunch of inappropriate tags (22:43), I would suggest that you stop attempting to troll WikiPedia, and do some useful contributions instead. 2Flows (talk) 17:09, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The file File:Prodigy of Mobb Deep 2005.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused photo of unknown subject

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
