You are welcome to continue editing without logging in, but you may want to consider creating an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (12.111.217.25) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on this page. Again, welcome! March 2016[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Accurizer. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Angelo Cataldi, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Accurizer (talk) 14:21, 8 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Garrick McGee[edit]

Hello, I'm Cubbie15fan. Your recent edit to the page Garrick McGee appears to have added premature information about a reported sports transaction, so it has been removed for now. The transaction is based on anonymous sources and/or awaiting an official announcement. If you believe the transaction has been completed, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Cubbie15fan (talk) 17:01, 9 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Angelo Cataldi. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. ~ RobTalk 15:49, 10 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

February 2017[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Wing Bowl shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. -- Marchjuly (talk) 03:41, 4 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Wing Bowl[edit]

Hi 12.111.217.25. This for reference Wing Bowl has been nominated for deletion by another editor named Drmies at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Wing Bowl. I am trying to clean up the article and make it more in accordance with relevant Wikipedia policies and guidelines, and thus give it more of a chance of surving that discussion. Wikipedia requires all content about a subject of any article to be supported by citations to reliable sources, be written in a neutral point of view and be encyclopedically relevant. Much of what you keep trying to re-add to the article is unsourced content about living individuals which is something that is really not allowed when it comes to Wikipedia. Trivia-like content and round-by-round accounts as well really make the article read more like a fanpage or a news account, which are two things that Wikipedia article's are not intended to be.

What we need to do is establish that this event has received significant coverage as an event per Wikipedia:Notability (events), and this coverage goes beyong local media coverage. So, if you know of any independent reliable sources outside of the local area which show this, then please add them to the article. If you're not sure how to do this, then post something at Talk:Wing Bowl#Past Wing Bowls, so that others can help you. This coverage should be primarily about the event itself, not a piece focusing on the winner of the event in which the event is just mentioned by name.

Continuing to re-add this unsourced and promotion type of content is not going to help others decide to keep the article, and is eventually going to be seen as disruptive, which in turn may lead to an administrator being asked to get involved. This IP has already been advises not to do this kind of thing in various other posts on this talk page, so I suggest that you refrain from further doing it. If you're not the same person who made those other edits, then I suggest you consider registering for an account so that you can keep your edits separate from anyone else using the account. If this IP address is blocked, then anyone using it (even a person with no interest in the Wing Bowl) is not going to be able to edit from it. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:01, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
