The article Arnold Sutermeister has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Sutermeister led 240 soldiers in his company, see source: https://web.archive.org/web/20160304045028/http://11thindianabattery.us/ . Sutermeister was a small "cog" in the US Civil War: Leading 240 soldiers is not enough for encyclopedic notability. As an architect he does not appear to have left any lasting works. His short biography fits at best in the article on the 11th Independent Battery Indiana Light Artillery. The article on this Battery is also very short.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
