Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Happy editing! Cheers, Cassiopeia talk 10:39, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Idontknowwhattouseasmyusername300. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Akhmed Tazhudinov, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Idontknowwhattouseasmyusername300 (talk) 19:20, 4 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

All you did was prove that he's a Russian-born athlete representing Canada. Which is exactly what the article says. Nswix (talk) 21:49, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It’s says that he is both Russian and Canadian Russia MM (talk) 21:52, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Beterbiev answered whether he should be considered a Canadian ... https://athletistic.com/boxing/38844.html Russia MM (talk) 21:55, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's not about his opinion. The matter of fact is, he DOES represent Canada. End of conversation. Nswix (talk) 22:08, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Right he also represents Russia as well Russia MM (talk) 22:11, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Putting your source in your edit summary does not count as sourcing. You need to put it in your edit somewhere. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 22:37, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Russia MM, Pls note that no ethnicity in the leas section. Krylov was born in Ukraine. Pls do not use social media, personal websites, and not reliable source in Wikipedia. It does not matter what countries the subject wants to represent, in Wikipedia we only place the nationality of the subject. Pls do not add the info back again. Cassiopeia talk 10:28, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

He was born in Ukraine but he represents Russia that’s why I said Ukrainian born Russian it’s his own words Russia MM (talk) 10:31, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As stated above, it does not matter the subject want to represent which countries or hold which country flags. In Wikipedia, in the we state the subject nationality. There are fighter represent the whole world (one world concept) where they raise the world flag and other always say their are Mexican but was born in US or Palestine but born in US, there are all considered American and not Palestine American or Palestinian or Mexican. as we dont put the ethnicity in the lead (intro) section. Krylov was born in Ukraine and his nationality is Ukrainian and not Russian even his ethnicity is Russian. So in Wikipedia we states he is an Ukrainian. Cassiopeia talk 10:39, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Russia MM, I suggest you to complete the WP:TWA program so you may understand the fundamental Wikipedia guidelines. Secondly if you want to place the source from the web (inline citation), then pls use the horizontal format of Template:Cite web. Be safe and best.
