M.Sc. Electrical Engineering/System Design & Tech. University of Applied Sciences, Darmstadt, Germany [Sep 2001 - Nov 2003]

I completed my Master studies at University of Applied Sciences, Darmstadt (Germany) with specialization in Telecommunication.

As Master Thesis and Internship is compulsory for fulfillment of Master Degree, I worked as Internee at T-Systems Nova GmbH, (Germany) for more than one year. The topic of MS-Thesis was Realization of Metadata integration within MPEG-4 File format and Storage within a XML Database. After understanding MPEG-7 standards (this standardizes an XML Schema for metadata of audiovisual content), MPEG-4 provided software is extended in such a way that MPEG-7 metadata can also be integrated in MP4 file. Further the software provided in the internship is to be integrated as interface to the XML database.

During Internship I used XML Database and Interacted XML Database Software “Xindice 1.0” with JBuilder and designed a User Interface. Using this UI, User can create collections of XML files, retrieve, and update and do different type of queries in saved XML Files.
