Introduction[edit]

Hello! I am a Midwest native who loves to run, read, and learn about CleanTech in my free time! I'm primarily interested in innovative technology solutions including carbon capture, long-duration battery storage, electric vehicles, and SMRs. It's going to take a massive amount of passion and innovation to move the needle on climate change and I'm excited for what's to come!

I attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor for my undergrad where I studied political science and international affairs. While in school, I also took Arabic language classes and still try to keep up my abilities through conversation buddies and my friends.

When I'm not working, studying, or thinking about the latest trends in climate innovation, I enjoy running around the Washington, D.C. area and taking in the sights. Some of my favorite races I've gotten a chance to participate in have been the Marine Corps Marathon, the Nashville Rock and Roll Half Marathon, the Detroit Free Press Half Marathon, and every area turkey trot since I was little.

My favorite vacation spots have been in national parks, most notably I've enjoyed visiting the Big Five national parks in Utah: Zion, Bryce, Arches, Canyonlands, and Capital Reef. Some others I can't wait to visit are Sequoia, Glacier, and Dry Tortugas.
