Lives in Chennai, India. Had elementary and secondary education in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. Graduated in 1964. Worked as a Wireless Telegraphist. Trained in media and communication fields. Conversant in English and Tamil. Contributed to print and radio broadcast media in both languages for almost 35 years. Won the 1st price in a world-wide competition conducted by the English Service of Radio Netherlands in 1990. Was a Frequency Monitor for Radio Deutsche Welle for 10 years during 1980/90s. Worked with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Headquarted in Geneva for 10 years as a Dissemination and Media Liaison Officer and as translator from 1992. Trained in Web Designing. Created websites and was engaged in Affiliate marketing for 6 years since 2006. Thereafter retired from all business activities. Contributes to Wikepedia (English and Tamil) since 2013. Active on Facebook and Twitter.
