Salil Joshi is an M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering department from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He currently works for IBM India Research Laboratory, Bangalore.
Introduction
[edit]Salil was born in Mulund, a suburban area in Mumbai on January 4, 1986. He was brought up in Neral, a village in the outskirts of Mumbai.
Childhood
[edit]Salil received his B.E. degree in Information Technology from Fr. C. Rodrigues Institute of Technology, Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
Work Experience
[edit]Post completion of the B.E. degree, Salil joined Amdocs Development centre in India and worked for a couple of years in billing production support for AT&T. He joined M.Tech in IIT Bombay in 2009.
Interests
[edit]Salil loves to play chess. He has participated in various chess tournaments and won a few. Academically, he is passionate about Natural Language Processing, in which he did his Master's thesis.
