I'm one of the founders of South River Technologies, a privately held software development company based out of Annapolis, Maryland in the United States.

Our company was formed in 2001 as a result of the merger of two software companies, KnoWare, Inc. and Riverfront Software, both of which were founded in 1996. We are best known as the creators of WebDrive, the World's first commercially available Virtual File System software for the Microsoft Windows platform.

The founders of the two original companies were previously competitors who met while contracting for a Santa Monica based online storage provider called Xdrive in the late 90's. Once the bubble burst, we decided to join our two companies to further our development of the WebDrive technology.
