Dan Klefstad is an American author and radio host from DeKalb, IL. He currently works at NPR where he has hosted WNIJ's Morning Edition since 1997.[1] In 2012, Klefstad began conducting interviews with fellow authors from the areas of northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. These interviews are part of WNIJ's Read With Me series, a broadcast dedicated to promoting local authors.[2] On 7 April 2017, Klefstad's debut novel Shepherd & The Professor[3] was published by Black Rose Writing.[4]
