Melissa Clark[edit]

Created by Neutrality (talk). Self-nominated at 03:29, 7 December 2018 (UTC).

  • A bit of a skimpy bio (missing especially vital info like birthdate & perhaps the personal life bit could be merged with her early life), but that being said it's new and long enuf. Tone is neutral and Earwig detects no copyvio. Hook is considerably interesting. Awaiting QPQ... Best, Kingoflettuce (talk) 08:42, 7 December 2018 (UTC)
  • A QPQ has been added. I couldn't find a DOB for Melissa Clark. Neutralitytalk 01:40, 8 December 2018 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this. The biographical information is fine, for a start class article, but the hook could be improved. I added more information from the source to the article. What about something like:
  • ALT1: ... that New York Times food writer Melissa Clark elicited disapproving tweets from President Barack Obama and former governor Jeb Bush for her recipe for guacamole with green peas? Yoninah (talk) 19:32, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
  • Fine with me, but a little on the long side. Neutralitytalk 03:57, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
that works, thanks. Neutralitytalk 18:19, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
  • Thank you. We need another reviewer to review ALT1a. Pinging @Kingoflettuce:. Yoninah (talk) 19:18, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
  • I checked the reference for alt1a and I was able to verify the hook. SL93 (talk) 00:37, 26 December 2018 (UTC)
