I wouldn't know if The Fast Green Car (1965) was his first book or not, bu the British Library gives his early monographs as Look at Cars (1959), Look at Newspapers (1962), The Young Man’s Guide to Advertising (1963), Cars (1963) and The Bouncers (1964). This book was made into a film (a TV movie I believe) and there are some basic details on IMDb. It has been a long since I've read or seen either, but I recall there were a number of changes, e.g. Chancey Barlough becomes Chancey Bellow and the Ultragorgon changes from just a head to an entire monster with working mechanical hands. Fisk died on 10 May 2016, as per his agent, but this has not been noted on the main page as the agent wasn't famous enough according to user "jkaharper". Just so we all know, he is dead. Fame has nothing to do with it. Information added to WP must be sourced to a reliable source. Twitter is considered a self-published source, and is only useable as a source for information about the tweeter. See WP:RS for how we evaluate reliability of sources, and WP:SELFSOURCE for information about self-published sources. Also please refrain from back-handed compliments, as they are a form of personal attack, are not allowed on WP, and can get you blocked from editing.

In this particular case, we could use the tweet as a source to say "A person who said they are Fisks's agent said he died..." but since Wikipedia:Wikipedia is not a newspaper there is no need for this.
