  • Hello, I would like to help review AFC drafts and believe I meet the criteria. Thanks! Thsmi002 (talk) 04:45, 3 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Probation - I was a little concerned about the various nominations of pages you had written for deletion, but I see they're a relatively small fraction of your total work. If there are no issues following a review at the end of March (assuming a reasonable amount of activity at AFC) then you will be all set. Primefac (talk) 20:30, 3 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • All criteria met. Please add me to the participants list. MizukaS (talk) 08:28, 3 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
MizukaS, I'm a bit concerned with your interactions with other users. You've been involved in some minor edit wars on a few pages, and your talk page history shows a rather acerbic attitude towards those who disagree with you. Why do you think you would be a good fit for AFC, when almost everyone who comes to you will be attempting to argue why you made the wrong decision? Primefac (talk) 20:30, 3 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Not done per the lack of reply. Primefac (talk) 14:30, 13 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Hi, I'm interested in being added. I feel I meet the criteria, and being able to deal with drafts properly would be a good extension of my usual vandalism patrol. --~ฅ(ↀωↀ=)neko-channyan 17:15, 9 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hello. Insertcleverphrasehere left a message on my talk page about helping with the AfC backlog, and I would like to participate. Please add me to the participants list. • Gene93k (talk) 23:36, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • GRuban (talk · contribs · count · logs · page moves · block log · edit summaries)
Please add me to the project because I am an experienced editor. I submitted a draft for AfC, and noticed the backlog was huge. Naturally I can't review the one I submitted, but I can help the general backlog. --GRuban (talk) 18:32, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Whoops. I believe you added him or her into the wrong place. -- -- -- 06:19, 26 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I was going by ASCII sorting, which places an R before an r, which is what AWB uses and annoys me every time but I've kind of gotten into the habit. I'll be running the numbers later this week and the list will likely be re-sorted then anyway. Primefac (talk) 13:04, 26 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I don't plan on using this regularly, but occasionally get asked to help with the backlogs, or find situations where an editor is struggling with the process and it would be easiest for me to review a draft (or to decline drafts of pages previously deleted at NPP). power~enwiki (π, ν) 19:53, 16 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I was requested to help out by Insertcleverphrasehere. I previously didn't have a lot of time to help out, but I'm happy to help with the back log as I now have a bit more time on my hands. Thanks, Flickerd (talk) 04:58, 20 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'm a little new here but I've made 3,300 contributions and I would like to help clear the backlog. Thanks. L293D () 16:38, 20 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Probation: fairly new, but you've created a few articles on your own already that seem fine, and seem to have s grasp of the policy. I'm a bit concerned with the issues being raised on your page re: reverts: this is less than typical when dealing with anti-vandal work, but because content work is different, I'm fine with giving you a go. Come back at the end of March and ping me or Primefac, and we'll review and make it permanent if there are no issues. TonyBallioni (talk) 14:08, 21 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'm active on the live IRC channel, it would be helpful to be able to reject WP:SNOW-y drafts. I don't intend on regularly reviewing articles just yet (although I'm sure I'll do one every now and then), but certainly when someone asks me to look at their article in IRC it'd be nice to not leave them hanging around when their article is woefully incomplete. -- Thanks, Alfie. talk to me | contribs 13:13, 21 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Not done you only have about a month and a half of active editing, only have 360 mainspace edits, and of those, 300 are automated (and given the Huggle breakdown, I'm assuming most of it was vandal fighting and not related to content policies as CSD or AfD might be). Come back when you have more experience dealing with our content policies, and more time (I would wait at least two months). TonyBallioni (talk) 13:18, 21 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'm an old Wikipedian looking to return to help tackle the backlog that's suddenly built up! Lunchscale Talk! Contrib! 20:15, 21 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Not done for now. While I appreciate your enthusiasm upon returning to Wikipedia, you haven't done any significant editing since 2010, and the consensus on quite a few things has changed since then. I have no problems granting after you've demonstrated a bit more activity, so feel free to reapply once you've done some more editing. Primefac (talk) 00:36, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Looking to see what I can do for AfC, as there is a backlog. I meet the criteria and it will be a nice change from normal anti-vandal work. -NottNott 22:17, 25 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please add me to the project because a regularly host Wikipedia events and train volunteers to edit. The ability to review and move their drafts would be very useful Jason.nlw (talk) 17:38, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not declining this, just musing (for other patrollers to contemplate) but I'm a bit hesitant to have you reviewing the drafts of the people you're helping out, because there's too much potential for a "well, it's okay, and I don't want you to feel bad" move. However, there is no obligation for a user to use the AFC process, so you would be perfectly able to move their drafts anyway if you felt they were of sufficient quality. Hello, I would like be an reviewer of drafts please. I will be happy to review the articles. I also meet all the requirements, due to my account being 1 year old and my 507 edits to mainspace. Thanks. Do the Danse Macabre! (Talk) 13:02, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Not done for now, mostly due to a lack of evidence of procedural knowledge of the various criteria required for assessing a draft's suitability. Primefac (talk) 16:03, 3 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

User:Hammersoft

In patrolling new accounts and Special:Newpages I frequently come across pages created by new users who have no idea what they are doing. In many of these cases, the pages are nonsensical, pointless, or have no hope of ever becoming an article. Today's example; User:Pop4462/sandbox. With a backlog of >2500, I don't think the backlog needs to be made even longer by such pages. I would like the ability to review (and decline) these requests via the helper script, as this is the 'correct' way to handle such requests. I've read the reviewing instructions and the criteria and feel I meet them. Thanks, Hammersoft (talk) 16:56, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I want to be able use the script to accept the AfC submission, mostly math-related submissions. Taku (talk) 23:07, 3 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Not done for now. While I do appreciate your interest, your overall track record with draft applications recently is problematic. There is no requirement for drafts to go through the AFC process, and you're more than welcome to move your own drafts (or other's drafts) to the Article space if you feel they are ready. I don't have any prejudice against a new request for access in a few months, but now is not quite the time. Primefac (talk) 00:41, 4 March 2018 (UTC) As an administrative note, I removed two comments that I believed were likely to instigate more heat than light, though I do appreciate them being made and they were taken into consideration prior to their removal.[reply]

Happy to help with the backlog. I haven't been very active recently, but I've been around for many years and have over 15,000 edits. -- SteinbDJ · talk · contributions 17:11, 4 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
only 8 edits since 2013 suggests this editor is unlikely to be up to speed with current inclusion standards and WP:CSD etc. Suggest getting some recent experience on WP:AFD and WP:MFD to familiarize with current standards that have changed (like Corp Spam) and then reapplying. (Non-admin comment) Legacypac (talk) 01:01, 5 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Not done per above. You haven't really edited since 2013. Consider applying again in a month or two when you have more recent experience. TonyBallioni (talk) 01:42, 5 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

User:Malcolmrevere

I'd like to assist with tackling the backlog. I've been an active user within this online community for almost 5 years - since September of 2013. I created and infrequently edit Kaytranada; I recently made several edits to Kali Uchis. I believe that I have a strong understanding of the content / quality to permit within this community; I'm willing to diligently study and follow the guidelines. I recently requested for my user page to be deleted (just remembered that) ... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ --

  • Comment thank-you for your interest. With just 34 edits in the past 365 days and just over 500 edits in all time I don't believe you yet have the experience with deletion and content policies required to handle AfC yet - frankly it might be overwhelmingly. I also don't see any recent participation in WP:MfD or WP:AFD or use of WP:CSD. Can I suggest helping out in those three areas of draft and page management first to gain some relevent experience for AfC? Turn on Twinkle and start looking for junk. Cheers Legacypac (talk) 01:07, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'd like to become an AfC reviewer. I am already a new page patroller and a rollbacker, and would like to be able to help with the occasional AfC submission as well. IagoQnsi (talk) 07:41, 8 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
experienced editor here and especially at Commons. Uses rollback, CSD, PROD regularly. Works on improving pages. Just the kind of editor we need at AfC. Legacypac (talk) 07:50, 8 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Done. I'm a little concerned with your lack of activity in the last few years (i.e. since 2013) but your recent CSD and AFD logs look pretty good so it would appear that you've stayed current on the relevant guidelines and policies. Primefac (talk) 15:21, 14 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
