Located at 45°32′N 126°59′E / 45.533°N 126.983°E / 45.533; 126.983 an an elevation of 140 m (462 ft), it is 29 km southeast of the city of Harbin, 125 miles northeast of Jilin, and 30 miles south of the Sungari.
