: Yes, I already mentioned this, it is one and the same non-English/non-American native person. Nevertheless the contributions contain from my point of view no wrong or irrelevant data, even if the accuracy of the data addition could be improved same as the grammar and spelling. I am happy about everybody who is helping in the badminton project. Over the years there were only a few people doing the major part of the work, so I would rather invest some teaching then penalting. --Florentyna (talk) 04:00, 18 October 2016 (UTC)

I think that the user has done no abusive edits. His accounts should be unblocked and his articles should be undeleted. How to proceed? Andres (talk) 05:37, 19 October 2016 (UTC)

Newspapers.com check-in

Hello Florentyna,

You are receiving this message because you have a one-year subscription to Newspapers.com through the Wikipedia Library. This is a brief update, to remind you about that access:

 • Please make sure that you can still log in to your Newspapers.com account. If you are having trouble let me know.
 • Remember, if you find this source useful for your Wikipedia work, to include citations with links on Wikipedia. Links to partner resources are one of the few ways we can demonstrate usage and demand for accounts to our partners. The greater the linkage, the greater the likelihood a useful partnership will be renewed. Also, keep in mind that part of Newspapers.com is open access via the clipping function. Clippings allow you to identify particular articles, extract them from the original full sheet newspaper, and share them through unique URLs. Wikipedia users who click on a clipping link in your citation list will be able to access that particular article, and the full page of the paper if they come from the clipping, without needing to subscribe to Newspapers.com. For more information about how to use clippings, see http://www.newspapers.com/basics/#h-clips .
 • Do you write unusual articles using this partner's sources? Did access to this source create new opportunities for you in the Wikipedia community? If you have a unique story to share about your contributions, let me know and we can set up an opportunity for you to write a blog post about your work with one of our partner's resources.

Finally, we would greatly appreciate it if you filled out this short survey. Your input will help us to facilitate this particular partnership, and to discover what other partnerships and services the Wikipedia Library can offer.

Thank you,

Wikipedia Library Newspapers.com account coordinator HazelAB (talk) 19:14, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia library Newspapers.com renewal

Your free one-year account with Newspapers.com will end on September 5 2015. Newspapers.com has offered to extend existing accounts by another year. If you wish to keep your account until September 5 2016, please add your name to the Account Renewal list here. I'll let Newspapers.com customer support know, and they will extend your subscription. If you don't want to keep your account for another year, you don't have to do anything. Your account will expire unless I hear from you that you want to keep it. All the best, HazelAB (talk) 13:10, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Commonwealth Games

I agree it would be better but the problem I am encountering is that I cannot remember how to do the redirect. At present the years listed under this template all have existing articles called Badminton at the Commonwealth Games

. I intend to make a new article for each Commonwealth Games so will need to redirect all of the years in this template. Many Thanks Racingmanager (talk) 18:49, 12 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A kitten for you!

Hi Florentina!

Thanks for correcting Estonian champs for 2016.

Hopefully, we can redo this correction after 7-th of February  ;)

Jaspar Yu Woon

Please do not add year of births without a source like you did for Jaspar Yu Woon. Wgolf (talk) 05:42, 23 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Saw that you added better refs-thanks! Wgolf (talk) 05:44, 23 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Indic scripts in lead

Per this edit and the few reverts preceding, just bringing WP:INDICSCRIPT to your attention. Regards, 220 of Borg 19:38, 15 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

The Minor barnstar
Thanks for your minor edit. Keep it up! Stvbastian (talk) 13:27, 20 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi..May i know where are you found Artem Karpov year of births? thanks

You can find on badm.ru a lot of birth years (without exact days), for instance www.badm.ru/files/File/ranking/2011/ranking_03_11(1).xls. On one sheet ([1]) the birth year for Karpov is given with 1983, but I think this is a mistake. --Florentyna (talk) 14:41, 20 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A Barnstar for you!

The Working Wikipedian's Barnstar
Thanks for your work on the rather bare new badminton player articles by Muhd FUad. Even a sentence or two helps immensely! InsertCleverPhraseHere 11:10, 3 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You might want to check out that user's other articles. InsertCleverPhraseHere 11:22, 3 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Whoops, never mind, Black Kite got to them first. They're gone. InsertCleverPhraseHere 11:41, 3 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I am sure that most of the created players are relevant, but more content will be needed and at least one sentence which will support the relevance of the player. I hope somebody will find the time and re-add the players - a lot of them are already on Chinese and German Wikipedias. --Florentyna (talk) 15:28, 3 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Czech

I mean, when we open Czech page, it will show disambiguation. I think we should use ((Czech Republic|Czech)) or ((Czechs|Czech)).Stvbastian (talk) 11:22, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I understand what you mean. But as an adjective one should use Czech (and probably link it to Czechs like in Jan Mertl or Marek Michalička). --Florentyna (talk) 11:25, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
So, as I said above we should use ((Czech Republic|Czech)) or ((Czechs|Czech)) to avoid disambiguation.Stvbastian (talk) 11:33, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, right, this looks and sounds much better. Florentyna (talk) 11:35, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

They all seem to be part of a sockpuppet (like this one that you did Lin Xiao-min), see Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Muhd FUad Wgolf (talk) 01:48, 18 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
