Kachwaha
I've reverted your massive removal of content from :Kachwaha in December. The issue has been discussed extensively across a range of articles and you really need to read the entirety both of the Kachwaha article and its sources (ie: not just one or two pages from a source) before crashing in like that, sorry. - Sitush (talk) 20:31, 16 January 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for August 18

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Biharis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Indo-Aryan (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Information icon Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Bihari Rajputs, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. MahenSingha (Talk) 19:54, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Bihari Rajputs, without resolving the problem that the template refers to. This may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing. MahenSingha (Talk) 18:11, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The Wikipedia community has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions on any editor who is active on any page about social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties, related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in further inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The discussion leading to the imposition of these sanctions can be read here.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups.

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for persistent removal of maintenance templates after warnings, as you did at Bihari Rajputs. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: .  Bishonen | talk 23:06, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for sock puppetry. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

You cannot conclusively trace back my IP to those proxies so that is no reason to block my IP. I did not use those proxies as I have no need to, I have an account and I use that. Unless there is conclusive proof then there is no need to block me.

Decline reason:

Obvious is obvious. Your behavior is the clue. --jpgordon::==( o ) 23:43, 21 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the unblock template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

 • (I fixed your unblock request, by the way.) I don't have access to the CheckUser data, but the edits convinced me beyond doubt. I'll leave this for another admin to decide. —DoRD (talk) 23:07, 21 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

 1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
 2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Citing sources

Hi, I don't see any mention of Sher Shah Suri in the reference that you've added to the article. It is necessary to also provide the page number and, ideally, other details as well. Please take a look at this video which explains how to quickly and easily cite a source using the Wikipedia toolbar. You can use that to provide a full citation. Thanks.--Cpt.a.haddock (talk) (please ping when replying) 15:52, 6 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
