This is a list of television programs formerly or currently broadcast on Cartoon Network's late night programming block, Adult Swim in the United States. Although both networks share the same time space, Adult Swim is classified as a separate entity for the purposes of Nielsen ratings.

Unlike other networks, Adult Swim usually leaves the door open for canceled shows to come back, be it on air or in another format. Show creators may choose to move on to a new project, but because of the channel's flexible scheduling and low production costs, there is a chance the canceled show could return some day. For example, Space Ghost Coast to Coast has been brought back in short form on Gametap while The Brak Show, Perfect Hair Forever, and 12 Oz. Mouse all had webisodes released on Adult Swim Video following their conclusions.[1][2][3]

Aqua Teen Hunger Force 2000–present Season 1-8 available on DVD. The longest running series on Adult Swim, and the first series on the network to be adapted for a feature length film. As of 2011 each season is given a different alternative title as a running gag from series creators Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro. An episode from the fifth season, titled "Boston" was pulled to prevent further controversy surrounding the 2007 Boston bomb scare. The tenth season premiered August 11, 2013.[5] Willis has stated that an eleventh season will premiere in early 2015.[6] Maiellaro stated that there are no plans to end the series at any time in the foreseeable future.[7]

Childrens Hospital 2010–present A live-action parody of hospital dramas. Picked up for sixth season.[9]

Perfect Hair Forever 2004–2007, 2014 A indirect spinoff of Space Ghost Coast to Coast. A second season of 16 episodes was to premiere on Adult Swim Video in 2007, but the income made off the broadband service was not sufficient enough. A seventh episode was played during the 2007 April Fool's Day, along with the previous episodes in reverse order. The pilot episode was released on DVD as part of Adult Swim in a Box on October 27, 2009. Six episodes were made and the creators are not interested in continuing it for a second season. The show ended after a few more conclusion episodes were made. A new episode was aired unannounced on April Fools Day 2014.

Soul Quest Overdrive 2011 Spin-off of Aqua Teen Hunger Force starring David Cross, H. Jon Benjamin, and Kristen Schaal. Picked up for six episodes in 2010.[30] The first 4 episodes premiered in Adult Swim's "DVR Theater" May 24, 2011.[31] The episode "Pilot" and another unknown episode were never aired. Gavin McInnes, who voiced Mick, the soccer ball, confirmed the series was canceled. It was created by Matt Maiellaro and Dave Willis. Was aired as a contest in which viewers will like to pick a pilot on March 28, 2010.
Space Ghost Coast to Coast 1994–2004;
2006–2008		 Originally aired on Cartoon Network. The program was moved to Adult Swim when the block premiered in 2001. Initially ended in April 2004 with 93 episodes. Was revived in 2006, and new episodes began to premiere on Gametap in short form. The GameTap version premiered on May 30, 2006, and ended on May 31, 2008 with 104 episodes. IGPX 2013–present A collaborative project between Production I.G and Cartoon Network. Originally aired on Cartoon Network's Toonami block from 2005 to 2006. The rights were forfeited by Cartoon Network for tax deductions in 2006, but were reacquired from Production I.G in 2013. It is Toonami's first and only original series. Premiered April 28, 2013 at 2am/1c on Toonami. Reruns are currently aired Saturday nights at 4:30am/3:30c. Cartoon Planet 2005–2006 A block spun-off from Space Ghost Coast to Coast which aired comedy sketches alongside the theatrical shorts and classic cartoon shows usually shown on Cartoon Network. Later re-ran as a 22-episode half-hour variety series featuring the block's interstitials, which Adult Swim used for filler in the 5-6 a.m. time slot. Like SGC2C, originally premiered and aired as regular Cartoon Network programming. Currently a programming block again on Cartoon Network and TBS, and now includes assorted Cartoon Network programming with Space Ghost absent.[55]
Case Closed 2004–2005 Also known as Detective Conan in Japan. Ended after 50 episodes due to low ratings.[56] Episode 48 was skipped due to the upcoming Olympics. Now airs on Funimation Channel.

Death Note 2007–2010 Episode 37 aired on July 6, 2008, ending the first run of the series. A second run began later that year. Sometime during this run the series aired two episodes back-to-back on Saturdays, which was increased to four episodes toward the end of the third run, so that it could be completed before the airing rights expired. At the end of the series' third full run, it was pulled from the schedule, with Episode 37 (the final episode of the series) being the last episode aired. Shortly thereafter, in early 2010, the airing rights to the series expired, along with those of Blood+.,[57] Only the final episode is rated TV-MA.

Durarara!! 2011–2012 Durarara!!, often romanized as DRRR!! in Japan, is a Japanese light novel series written by Ryohgo Narita, with illustrations by Suzuhito Yasuda, that has also been adapted in to a Japanese anime series. The series premiered on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 12:30am/11:30c and ended on Saturday, December 17, 2011. Pulled from Adult Swim's lineup following the relaunch of Toonami. Episodes were streamed on Adult Swim's website until June 2013.
Eureka Seven 2006–2008; 2012–2013 Episodes 26-50 aired with special disclaimers warning viewers about the content of the episodes during the program's 2006-2008 runs. The airing rights expired right after its then-final rerun in 2008, but were renewed in August 2012. The series aired until August 2013, where it was removed from the schedule following completion of one full run. The Toonami staff have stated that it is highly unlikely that the series will ever return to Adult Swim. Episode 44, titled "It's All in the Mind" was the only episode to receive a TV-MA-V rating, or a TV-MA rating in general. Edited for content.
Fullmetal Alchemist 2004-2010 Premiered on November 6, 2004 and ended on March 18, 2006. Continued to air reruns until 2010, where it was replaced by the reboot of the anime, entitled Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. The series has been not aired on the network since. On November 19, 2012, it was confirmed on Toonami's Tumblr account that Adult Swim no longer has the rights to air the original Fullmetal Alchemist. Episode 51, titled "Laws and Promises", aired with a special disclaimer, warning viewers about the content of the episode.
Futurama 2003–2007 Cancelled FOX series. Adult Swim syndicated the four seasons that originally aired on FOX. Syndication was later purchased by Comedy Central in 2005. Adult Swim's rights to the show expired December 31, 2007, with the season four episode, "The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings" being the last episode aired. Inuyasha 2002–2014 Premiered on Adult Swim August 31, 2002. First run finished October 27, 2006. Rights to the series expired March 2, 2014, following the uncut premiere of episode 127. Originally aired as a daylight savings time filler. Toonami began airing reruns of the series in November 2012, and continued to do so until Adult Swim's rights to the series expired. From 2002 to early 2013, the series aired with slight edits for content. Toonami premiered uncut, mastered episodes of Inuyasha from early 2013 until the rights to the program expired in March 2014. InuYasha's previous timeslot was replaced by reruns of Sym-Bionic Titan, beginning March 8, 2014.[58]

Episode 3 went unaired at Geneon's request due to Nazi references, despite a preview's inclusion at the end of the preceding episode.[59] Currently, Adult Swim only holds the airing rights for a few of the aforementioned 26 episodes, and has not aired the show at all since 2007.

Lowe Country Unaired Reality Show starring George Lowe. The pilot never aired on television but premiered on Adult Swim Video in 2007. An altered version of this pilot entitled Earth Ghost aired on April 1, 2011, as part of Adult Swim's annual April Fools Day joke. Earth Ghost featured George Lowe replaced with a CGI version of himself in a Space Ghost costume.
Neon Knome Unaired Animated pilot by Ben Jones. Was part of a contest in which viewers would pick a pilot to air on March 28, 2010.[79] The pilot was rejected by Adult Swim, and was re-tooled into the Cartoon Network series The Problem Solverz.
The New Big Ball with Neil Hamburger Unaired Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim project starring Neil Hamburger. The show was described as a mixture of a "Japanese bizarre game show and ‘The Price Is Right." Originally supposed to air in 2009 on Adult Swim, but the date never materialized. In July 2009, Neil Hamburger posted on his MySpace page with an update about the show. After viewing the pilot, Adult Swim was not satisfied with the final product and the plug was pulled on the project. The pilot was uploaded to adultswim.com on November 7, 2013.[80]
Paid Programming 2009 The pilot aired as a "special" unannounced stealth presentation on November 3, 2009 at 4:30 am (ET), then re-aired every Tuesday-Thursday until December 3, 2009. The cancellation of Paid Programming was confirmed when creator, H. Jon Benjamin, called it an "abject failure".[81] The fact is that Adult Swim does not air infomercials, but the TV pilot stars its show creators H. Jon Benjamin and David Cross.

Spacecataz Unaired A failed spinoff of Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Although, there is a pilot of this broken into parts in cold openings of the ATHF Season 3 episodes. The pilot was released as a special feature on the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Volume Four DVD, on December 6, 2005.

The show idea was scrapped and later produced into the hour-long special Freaknik: The Musical, which first aired on March 7, 2010.
Totally for Teens 2011 Pilot from Derrick Beckles (TV Carnage, Street Carnage), Vernon Chatman (PFFR, Wonder Showzen, Xavier: Renegade Angel), and Ari Fishman from The Daily Show.[83] Pilot aired in Adult Swim's "DVR theater" on January 20, 2011, and was released on DVD as part of Adult Swim in a Box on October 27, 2009.

G.I. Joe: Resolute 2009 90-minute movie that aired April 25, 2009.
The Room 2009 This movie was aired in 2009 as Adult Swim's annual tradition to bait-and-switch their schedule on April Fools' Day. In 2010 it was re-aired on April Fools' Day, for the second year in a row; featuring Space Ghost interviewing Tommy Wiseau in the same format as Space Ghost Coast to Coast in place of bumps. When it originally aired in 2009 it was rated TV-14-DLSV, but when it re-aired in 2010 the rating was changed to TV-MA. The movie last aired in its entirety was on April 1, 2011 without the Space Ghost bumps. on April 1, 2012, only the opening was aired, then it cut to TOM from Toonami.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters 2008 Film based on Aqua Teen Hunger Force, the first film adaption of an Adult Swim series. Released in theaters on April 13, 2007. Originally aired on Adult Swim on April 1, 2007, before the theatrical release. It is notable that this airing was in fact an April Fools' Day prank. It did indeed air, but it took up only a fraction of the screen (the frame was Picture-in-Picture within the regular programming, only a couple inches big and the audio in reverse). The film aired in full on Adult Swim March 31, 2008.
There has been mention of producing a second film entitled Death Fighter. As of August 2024 the film has yet to be released. It was mentioned that there is a possibility that the film might be made in 3-D.[30]
